On an average how long should you wait for a response before deleting them?

As long as you want of course, but guests can’t reply after a week so there’s probably no point keeping those messages there after that.

I delete immediately if I have no initial physical attraction or interest in meeting (based on something other than physical attraction).

One week. Then Tineye all of the profiles you have messaged to see how many of them are actually fake, learn from that, then have a look at the quality of your remaining messages to real profiles to see how you could have improved them, learn from that, then delete those a well. Then, if you feel so inclined, try again. Obi1

My above comment was more generally for guys on here (as we tend to be the message senders rather than the message receivers). One of my apprentices once asked me the same question, and when he showed me the number of messages to which he had received no reply, it became apparent that about 70% were to profiles that were clearly fake. It doesn’t matter how engaging a message is, the fakes are unlikely to reply. Obi1

If it's just exchange of messages (not actually met in real life), isn't a NO reply = not interested taking the conversation any further or actuallymeeting up? 🤔 Ms Foxy

Like many guys on here, until your erection dies, or your wife arrives back from a weekend at her mother's....

Whenever you want there is no rule in this, you follow your heart and instincts then carry on.

we don't delete any, we keep them so we have a record of who we've talked to.

The new deleting function is interesting. I reply and its not the right response and poof their message has been deleted by them.

Think of the zipper method.....one side then the other. If the other side doesn't reciprocate the zipper doesn't get undone any further and you're not getting into their pants! Seriously though, why would you bother wasting your time worrying about who hasn't responded to your last message? Just concentrate on who has.
