Music can reflect how we feel and affect how we feel. I've posted a similar topic previously. Basically, post a song that ties in with how you're currently feeling. Feeling upbeat...post a banger, feeling melancholy....post a sad song, feeling angry...post a 'fuck you' anthem. Mine for today....Natalie Merchant's beautiful song, Carnival. Feeling good because some patience and discipline looks like its going to pay dividends. And then i found a brand new song by my band of the moment a Ukrainian group called Jinjer. I've been thrashing them daily for the last six months.You can tell she's emotionally connected to her lyrics,and the music is complex and heavy. Some of their songs give me chills down my spine. It's a defiant song about karma and suits my mood perfectly. We came from the lands Where kindness equals weakness. Feelings are conditional And help is something supernatural. I don't have the energy other than dance to get into every word of a song but do have chorus that I relate to. However Eagles "hotel California was the first song I learnt by heart just because I like it omg sooo long ago. A friend made me laugh with a verse from a song "She only comes on top" and so me LOL have no idea who it was (the song I mean) I love all music and in a small way can relate to it all.Mood setting well that depends on my mood. Not contributing much here ..sorry
