Moving forward

November 07 2020

Out of curiosity, with borders opening and restrictions easing around the country but Covid still in the back of people’s mind how are people handling this moving forward? Are the rules of catch-ups changed for you? (Still not ready to dip your toes, no kissing, treating it as you would a cold or any other illness and if you don’t feel well explain and hope they give you another chance???????)

Just in general with the stress of this year we're not feeling it and a number we've spoken to are the same. In SA at least I don't think we'd have too many restrictions on what we'd get up to.... I mean it's not like it is in the UK or the States. With all the cases in the US, they're pushing on with Naughty in New Orleans next weekend! It'll be interesting how many go, I believe it's usually over ten thousand swingers. Now that has disaster written all over it. As to the whole kissing thing, if it came to that I think we'd just pull the pin on all of this and not do it at all. It's all very much going to depend on exactly where you live, I know our response would be very different if we weren't in Adelaide.

I’m so pleased it’s not just us and Spicykale responded first . We also are just ‘not feeling it ‘ . We are trying . This year I feel has taken its toll . We are exhausted, mentally and physically. Once we ARE feeling it , it’s either all or nothing . We can’t play without kissing and with those limitations . Some may find a mask erotic in the past , I’m sure that ship has sailed . There is no events /parties as yet that I know of in Melbourne . Sadly , we don’t feel we are quite ready to attend , even if they were up and running . Hoping 2021 brings a more certain time and some assemblance of normality will return to our lives . Ax

My rule hasn't changed. Safety first. Now restrictions have eased here in QLD I'm slowly dipping my toes out there. As a front line worker, I'm am very weary tho and am picky and choosy whom I'm meeting. If anyone shows me any signs of colds or flu like symptoms, I'm out. That's fair enough too. Ms Foxy

Hi, We have been back playing with a group of friends (5 other couples) now for about 3 months. We have played exclusively within the group and everything including kissing has been included. We all agreed to not play outside the group until everything is over. We thought about going back to clubs when they reopened but weren't keen on the loss of privacy where you had to give details (as you do for a pub or restaurant). Just thought if there was a breakout the media would love the sensationalism of exposing people who swing.
