... i'm sorting music on my external hard drive as we speak... with 22,580 songs on there you can probably understand why i don't store music on my laptop... if it ever got stolen, i'd be bloody devastated man! ... the external hard drive is a safe solution and it's always well hidden from thieving hands.I randomly shuffled songs on my phone instead and here's what come up... old stone - Laura Marlinglove lost - The Temper Trampthe pirate's gospel - Alela Dianeuncomfortably slow - Newton Faulknerspeedway - The Prodigy superfly - Curtis Mayfieldred rag to a bull - Tijuana Cartelat last - Etta Jamessame old thing - The streetsi'll stick around - Foo Fightersfuck twisties, life pretty straight without music ... bless the caveman/cavewoman that first started it all by bashing on a drum and singing out to the moon

You know the best thing about music is that there is so much of it out there, no one couldpossibly claim to know or have heard but a smallselection of whats out there.A lot will have a reasonable knowledge of their preferred genres. In my opinion neither cool nor wanker...just haven't come across.Cheers Felonious

Bugger me, I have an ipod nano and have a heap of albums on it but I tend to listen to JJJ on the walk to work. So i have no favourites... I will say I have been listening to Plan B on JJJ and I do like the way he combines great raps and his social commentary with some really good vocal work and beats. Tame Impala have impressed as well. Gotye is a god and Missy Higgins has done a great cover of "Somenody that I used to know". Funny thought... I am a Blues fan and adore Johnny Cash, most of the music I have been listning to lately has been as above... Does this make me a music slut? Or am I just trying to relive a youth of interesting music? Mike

I'm impressed by this song too. It's not often that a song expresses two sides so effectively. I think that Gotye deliberately portrayed himself as more the agressor. Also, does voice and style remind anyone else of Peter Gabriel?
