  A water bed haha. One of the most unique experiences. No banging headboards on wall, squeaky springs etc and even padding on the hard sides. Not the most comfortable to d sleep in. In all seriousness for whatever frame you get, investigate a European style foam mattress, comfy and last a lot longer then a spring mattress but dont forget to order the mattress protector. I am interested to see if others have tried a European style foam mattress from my experience extra $ is worth it in comfort alone.

  To avoid bruised shins the good old fashioned mattress and base combo would suit. We have a full latex mattress which is the most comfy to sleep on. It’s on a electric moving base which we thought might present some new angles but really haven’t found it if that much benefit.

  Thanks for the comments! Great suggestion about the mattress and base combo! Yes we are thinking a steel or super sturdy frame as we expect we'll have a minimum of 6 people at various points (maybe more if we're lucky 😜).

  We used to have a latex mattress and found it less satisfying for sex than a rational spring mattress. The ability to have the mattress recoil when fucking is lost without springs. So latex is great to sleep in but hard work for sex. I assume the Tempur mattresses are even worse for that. Independent pocket spring system will allow good rebound, minimise partner disturbance but can't be bent on a moveable base. Just my 2 cents worth. As far as frames goes. We look forward to testing one out with you when you decide 😉
