Good question. I finally decided to get some sun on my lily white skin after a long time and I would love the chance to do a little nude sunbathing myself! I never suspected there might be anywhere at the Gold Coast for nude bathing.

There is always A. bay on the sunshine coast, but it is not an unofficial nudist beach.

We have only tried Grey's Lane once and can't wait to go back. The north end is more for adult fun. The are some other beaches on the sunny coast, but I've heard there are just too many single guys and perverts.

There is no legal nude beaches in QLD, however A-Bay at Noosa is a common spot on the Sunny Coast. Hope this helps.

Best beach to go to from Bris is the unofficial one at Noosa, Alexandra bay (great beach). I have heard of a spot near the spit or opposite sea world down the goldy. There is a parking spot there and just take the walk down to the beach and head up the coast a bit and there you go :-).

We've been trying a few out. We've been to A Bay in Noosa a couple of times and have enjoyed it. It's a pretty beach and great for sun baking. The trouble is it's a trek from Brisbane for a day at the beach, especially when you factor in the walk through the national park to get to the actual beach. It's also not a great beach for playing on, in our experience. Twice when we've been a jogger has come bounding down the beach and stopped for a "rest" about a metre from where we laying. There aren't enough secluded spots like there are at say Birdie beach in NSW where you can relax without someone standing on top of you.We also tried the Spit at the Gold Coast after reading similar posting that there was an unofficial nude beach there. There was no nudsm going on when we went, but there were a heap of single guys cruising around. I suspect it's more of a "beat" than a nudist beach. We're keen to try byron next, it sounds like it's the best but we need to plan a proper weekend down there to try it as it's too far in a day..Of course if anyone has a private secluded pool to share we're all ears :-)

I went to the beach at the end of Greys Lane on Saturday. First time ever for me. I got burnt really badly but that's my fault. Halfway up Grey's Lane there's a lagoon on the left side. I had a look and it seemed to be a hang out for few gay guys. Then back in Brissie that night I ran into a guy who'd been there that very day and he was telling me he saw a number of women there 'servicing men'! I sure missed that! Some times you just get lucky I guess!

we do byron...grays lane at tyagerah.... lovely place usually.....except on those occasions we are either stalked by perves, or have some wanker sit down next us and openly masturbate...kinda wish i had a brick with me...to throw at their heads.... the beach is clean, easily accessed (car park is metres from the beach....a 30 second walk)...and the ti-tree lagoon is a refreshing rinse off...on the way back out...tho is used as a beat, by the gays and straying guys...

Quoting 'sextra'There is always A. bay on the sunshine coast, but it is not an unofficial nudist beach. Sorry, should read is an unofficial nudist beach. Grays lane is great because of its easy access but is a 2 1/2h drive each way fo rus. A-Bay is a bit of a walk, but worth it.....

There are always going to be a few shady people when you go to the beach. You know what they are up to when there is no one on the beach and they sit 5m away from you I mean come on really! A bay is nice because it's a bit closer but it is unofficial and you never know one day the cops may head down there.

First time we went to Grays Lane, we stopped at the lagoon thinking it was the walking track to the beach. Found out very quickly that it was a Gay Beat. Then decided to jump back in the car n keep driving. the relief when we found the car park and the beach. We had settled down to enjoy the serenity when a perve sat about 20 metres away and had a wank.IF there are any other couples or ladies wanting to go there, please let us know and if our schedules meet up, we can make a great day of it.

There are a few other beaches around Brisbane which are sometimes used for nude recreation. Third Bay in Coolum is one of them, and to a lesser degree Nudgee Beach on Brisbane's inner-city north. Some of the recent covers of The Australian Naturist magazine have been shot there. It was quite popular with nudists up until the late 90's until they built the walkway. I have also done some nude photo-shoots there and encountered passers-by, but never had any problems with them.
