So spill, what is the newly acquired tatt? Will/have you put a pic in your Pg of it? I have a very, very small one in a private spot that I got when about 19. I didn't think it all that bad on the pain scales. But I guess that all comes down to where you have the tattoo, so where is it?

I don't know why I said PG, you can put it in any damn gallery you want... I am not thinking straight this morning/today, Think I'll go crawl under the doona with Paintme and play with anyone's boobies who'll have me!

Is remarkably short lived and like Hellen said not too bad on the pain scales. Thou I guess it depends where and how big as I have been told that anything across bone tends to hurt that bit more. Mine is relatively small and in a rather discreet spot, but I really didn't notice any pain once the outline was complete. Would I get a second one, hell yeah. Just waiting for the right time (& the money) to get the one I want. So when do we get to see this new tatt?

I've got four, and had two of them re-done after a couple of years to make them look like new. I find tattoos very addictive and the feeling of getting them done is definitely a part of it. It really gets my adrenaline flowing. Ah crap, now I want another one!

they have a story to tell - well all mine do anyways.Every tattoo I have has a significant meaning. To me that's what makes them so addictive.I actually have a fear of needles and my first one I totally sh*t myself!Cried like a baby but was brave at the same time.Hope that makes sense. Then 5yrs later got 2nd one. :)Foxy

You never remember the pain...only that it hurt... Would you not feel somehow ripped off it it didn't hurt?....I mean you would have done your homework op ....everyone one hurts some are just sweeter than others! my tattooist proudly advertises FREE pain with every TATTOO, he won't tattoo if you use numbing cream , says every one of his hurt why shouldn't yours? Give it a little time op...and I bet you'll be back under the gun soon.... It's very addictive.

I have...5 I think. They're not that big but I love them. Tattoos are one of my definitive passions. The pain is not something that phases me. My last two have been multiple hours, and I only really noticed the pain when I was starting to get hungry. I found my ribs and the back of my knee to be the places that it hurt most, but once your used to the sensation its fine. My tip, take water, your favourite music to listen to if the studio doesn't play music you like, and your favourite allens lollies. I always take jelly beans. As for getting another...I'm hoping to go see my artist about another when I'm up in Sydney in a fortnight. Just another small piece :)

About two hours before I have anything painful done, I take two Nurofen Plus. And just before getting a tattoo a nice stiff drink as well. Really takes the edge off!

Enduring the pain of getting a tattoo is a worthy reminder that you are marking yourself for life . My mum used to say : "Pride Must Bear Pain". I've got a few tattoos . Each one hurt in it's own way . Each one was an intense Accuppunctre on a particular pressure point . Each tattoo reminds me of a certain time of my life . Times of Significant Change . I want more tattoos . Change is Good . I think I'm about due for another now ... ;) GG♒- Posted from rhpmobile

three tattoos, two are only small. The dragon on my side is the most recent and yeah, it hurt like a bitch when I first had it done...3 hours of agony... but there were issues with the guy who did it which made it worse. I ended up having to get it re-done and it didn't hurt as much then. I definitely want to get another one.

I have a small one running up my spine. I was all worked up expecting serious ouchies - based on Mr IAT's recount of his experience. But within 5 mins and I got used to the sensation, I just relaxed into it and sorta dozed off. I definitely want another and I know what I want, but it's just finding a time and the right artist (my first was done in the UK). Go you for joining the inked invasion :-d- Posted from rhpmobile

I enjoy the feeling, So far I have my lower legs, one on each side, left arm, top of right arm, back of neck, and my back. Any one that tells you they never hurt is full of it. But having said that the pain can also be very relaxing. (Well I find it) Every tat has a meaning, or a story about my life, or something that happened at that time. They can be a personal, yet fun and oh so sexy. Most people that get one end up going back for more. Enjoy... Tall

When I got mine..... the lady friend of the artist decided to show me her work. She pulled open her shirt to reveal a large pair of fully tattoed breasts, with ink encircling her areola, and a chain connecting her nipples. So if she can do that..... I was damn certain I wasnt even going to flinch.... and you got nothin to moan about!DG

HiDepends on where you have your tattoo as to how much pain there is and also on your pain threshold. I have got 5 of them and the only one which gave me any grief is the one on my profile pic - but that was a strange kind of relaxing pain (most of the time anyway!!!) Make sure you have a good tattooist - they make it their business to get to know you the first time you go and if you go back again, they know something about you and your body/pain threshold and make sure they put you at ease or tell stupid stories at the times it is going to hurt most!!! - my tattooist is fantastic and I can't wait to go back for round 6!!!!

I have 10 tattoos and plan to get a couple more. My leg took 13 hours straight the most pain was the back of my knee and my butt cheek, my back was 5 hours and the only time I felt a bit of ouch was when the needle started to get a bit blunt. Pain is just weakness leaving your body lol

Most of them were fairly easy, the one on my boob was the worst, but only on the side near my armpit. Man that hurt. The one behind my ear was the most fun ;-) I'm working out what I'm gonna get next... Lol...

My tattoos are an expression of me, my ink has meaning, I'm wearing symbols of my life and belief's on my skin. I'm just about to get my left arm covered in Lillies and frogs and I'm so excited, it's been five years since my wings went on and eighteen since my unicorn. Lucky for me I can design my own so they really are an extension of me. Men with the right Tatts are a real turn on for me and a lot of other girls, so don't let a little pain get in your way of getting more. Just shy away from the really ouchie places or get the anesthetic cream and apply before you have your ink done.

The tattooist warned me that the area around the nipple is some of the most sensitive skin and that was no joke. Around the nipple and the tender skin near the arm pit was excruciating but around the 'belly' of the pec, it settled down to a more familiar pain level. It became very strange and fascinating as the needle approached the collar bone. I didn't feel the pain locally, as in where the needle actually went in, it was transferred upwards. Initially, I felt it up the side of my neck but as the needle got closer to my neck, the pain moved up into my face. It felt like a knife being dragged down my cheek, just in front of my ear. Then, once the tattooist crossed the collar bone and started working on the top of the trapezius, the pain disappeared entirely and it felt like the tattoo was being done in texta. Go figure, huh? I'm now considering having the tattoo continue down my back and incorporating a portrait of Jennylee into it. I'm also thinking of getting the 'pony' tattoo on Jenny's ankle duplicated on my calf so that we have matching tats. In any case, I don't think I've got my last tattoo.

Love the pain of getting inked! Wouldn't even know how to count mine as they have started to join into one now. Whole upper torso is covered in them and i can't wait to get my legs done next. Recently got my two sleeves done in 4 continuous days 3pm-12am each day.... suck that pain up princess ;)Most painful tatts.... would definitely be my stomach with the normal tattooing gun. The traditional bamboo tattoo around my collarbones was the most excruciating pain i have ever felt in my life. The fact that it took 2hrs when it was a 20 minute tatt made it worse as well.Oh and who would have thought that inside the lip was a breeze, didn't even know my tattooist had started or finished!Trying to find a xxx tattooist who will ink "go go gadget" onto the side of my cock, but i seriously can't find anyone to do it :(

You know what they say....."no pain, no brain" lol. I have a couple, took quite a few hours, after the first hour or so I found it didnt really "hurt" just became a constant annoying irritation..... perhaps the pain associated with something beautiful, subconsciously reaffirms our mortality?

With all my tatts, it hurt and some of them were very painful, but I have planned out everything and I am not stopping because of a little pain. I just thought the pain is only there while they apply the ink, and can be withstood...and I hate pain, though as has been mentioned some people enjoy the sensation, always handy to be with someone who is getting a tattoo they enjoy, you get the after benefits.

somewhere along the line, particularly for us Submissive types, the pain becomes pleasure. The best part for me when I get tattooed is that I make it a personal goal to sit through it and not come out of the zone. Back of the legs, hands down hurt the most. Behind the ear was next, ribs to follow, wrist and then back. I don't know about anyone else, but shading is worse than childbirth (and I've done that twice!). I could sit through hours and hours of outlining. Anythingrightnow, I cant wait to see your next one <3 Tink
