Are these girls around the 18yo mark? If they are then I don't blame them at all. At your age I guess it is more acceptable if you go for someone your age or even up to say 15 years younger...but to be looking for anything younger than that....well....I don't blame them! Just another of those double standards. It is seen as quite acceptable for women to have a lover of any age they desire.Men.....not so much! there often has to be an inducement.....be it money or power or both!Speaks volumes about women i think.Cheers Nev........

Me passed it. No way. God I give the young ones a run for their money. Yes I'm over 40. I don't look it. I don't act it. Well I do have a secret. But I've had that for five years now. Damn. Women with this cougar thing well. Huh. It just messes up my chances of finding someone. I'm over that age limit of 40. So I am out of that age parameter. It was a great shock when I turned 41 here. Those that I was messaging I suddenly got that screen you aren't what they are looking for. Wow. I know you gals don't want an old fart. Lol. Just cause I went over this age doesn't mean I'm old. I'm not interested in much younger or much older guys and that's my preference. Doesn't make you a dirty old man McK, just out of my age range. And Nev, it wasn't that many years ago that it was common for men to be with women 30 years younger than them. Its only been in the last ten -fifteen years where women have claimed their right to have younger lovers and be out and proud about it. What it says about women is that they are prepared to make a stand to be treated equally. WILD

I have my desired ages 35 to 45 It is stated in my profile, im sure u older guys r nice but 4 me its like my dad hes 66! im attracted to younger guys! gotta have an attraction to get it on! im 46 look like im 36 and feel like im 26 I also connect better mentally with younger! We use to be surprised with couples profiles on here when the guy is 45 to 55 and his wife 22 to 28. Must be hard for these couples to play, as couples around the guys age 50 will say no...we have kids that age. Then if they aim around the wives age the other has to happy with someone old enough to be her father. But differing opinions are no longer a surprise to us

mmm I am all for an older guy, I probably would go say up to 25 years plus. It comes down to attraction. If there is something there when you talk/meet game on. I figure older men have more experience in pleasuring women. Pleasure both giving and receiving is what life is all about

Come on girls.......why is a senior citizen who still apparently has a healthy hankering for sex a "dirty old man"lets face it, its not exactly a term of endearment is it.Is he not entiltled to a sex life, is it fair that he is ostracised (theres a better word but it wont come to me) by a large percentage of the female population.Have you ever used that term towards a senior citizen in an abusive manner?When you are his age would you like to be treated like that?Cheers Nev.....Not a senior yet.......

I certainly do NOT think men over 40 are passed in at all... In many ways they are soo much more exciting .. They are often so much more sexy in their minds as they know why they are . they know there way around a womans body.. the young man studliness (gawd is that a word) tends to have diminished .. they can hold a fantastic conversation... and realise sex is about so much more than just penetration.. now for the younger men... Im not saying you arent there yet either ... I honestly think at the end of the day ... its just how two people get together and ignite against each other ... :-)

Well........ I think older men have a certain quality. Maybe I have been lucky by having meet some great older men who have certainly done it for me. I don't think age is the thing here..... What attracts me is personalitys....... Some might say i am a dirty old woman....... So be it...... Then i have found some younger guys who do it for me...... Back to personailty........ hmmm gee when u think about it i am getting older does that mean wiser maybe maybe not its weird to me when the age thing is brought up i mean how many guys chating up a woman in say a nightclub would dare ask a woman her age !!!!!!!!!! as for younger woman who want the older guys well nothing wrong with that ive always been able too relate too younger women more then most women my age not that an older woman isint a bad thing hehe least they have more of an idea of what they want

I was better looking & had more hair when i was 25. But Another twenty years later & Im leaving that naieve young know-it-all for dead. In fact, like a vintage hermitage ive got better with age & am more appreciated now ! I hope i dont make 71........I hope ive died of exhaustion waaaayyyy before that ! :)

I have been re-reading the responses Nev and I think many of them state clearly that they don't necessarily think of an older man who is interested in sex as a "dirty old man" unless he sends them messages when their profile states their age preference and he is much older, hence the reiterating of age preferences. For some women, the thought of being looked at or approached about sex by someone old enough to be their father is off-putting, and I don't blame the for that. That does fuel the stereotype of the "dirty old man". If someone is sexually active in their 70's and 80's, good luck to them I say, but if they start trying to crack onto me then I might just see them as a dirty old man or woman. So I think, in summarising, many of us think its great to know our libidos might never die, it doesn't mean we want to be having sex with people outside of the age ranges we have defined for ourselves and if that means we miss out on some good sex, we're prepared to take that risk. WTG

How old is old. One of the chaps at work is 20. A 35 yr old women he met at the pub wanted him to fuck her. He said she was way old but he felt sorry for her and gave her a big night of it. 35 is old for some. geezze if I got a 35 yr old to play with for one night, I would give her very much and difinately not say anything about old.

Our thought on this subject is...it's your attitude and not your years that count! If you look after yourself, don't come across as an old fuddy duddy & are fun..well that's great. Just take a look at some of the great rock stars & movie stars that are still living & loving it up into their 60's & beyond. We know people in their 30's that carry on like old women & men, their attitudes & styles are way past their ages. Yes, we have an average age group we search for but we can make allowences for the right people. What everyone should remember is that we are all growing older and we don't know about other people but we are hoping to be doing this way into our twighlight years all being well, so we never discount anyone just cos of their age cos we wouldn't want to be solely judged on that either. Of course though we don't expect to pull 18 year olds when we're 70 LOL

my age range is really quite broad ... probably early 20s to mid-60s, with the right person(s).If you had asked me 2, 5, 10 years ago, I'd have given you a very different answer. So for me ... older men are not dirty because they like sex. And some older men are way sexy (mind you, Hugh Hefner is NOT one of them!).Go for it Mck :)lilmiss x

I'm just trying to figure out why the age range he has put on his profile is from 18 upwards. I would think that most 18 year olds would not want to be with a 71 year old; they would consider 35 quite old!!
