Only a woman can help me.........

June 18 2011

So threw a red tea towel into the washing machine and all my stuff's gone pink, what's the solution aside from becoming a metrosexual lover of the pink shirt?.

Try Rit Colour remover or Dylon Colour run remover...at your local supermarket...

All this will do is make the washing machine blow up...then your pink shorts you're wearing will be dyed a natural brown colour. At least it's more manly...and you probably need a new machine anyway. |

A classic pitfall. Dontcha just hate it when that happens? If you can find a place that sells fabric / clothing dye (some chemists do) look for one that makes whites white again. If this does not work buy new shirts. I would suggest that you wear you "pinks" with pride. (real men really can wear pink as they have absolutely no doubt about thier sexuality) but when that happens I find that the clothes are coloured unevenly.

There is a product you can buy, I don't know the exact name but it sold with the laundry stuff and comes in a little packet with some pink cloths on it. It something like Rite Aid or rite help.

Yes RunAway is the product, washing powder section of the supermarket is where you should get it. If not, try haberdashers or anywhere that sells dyes. Failing that you could try dying your stuff a different colour.Next time don't buy cheap, coloured tea towels. Full marks for putting them in the wash though.lol

Where ever you find the RITS clothing dye ... you will find the suitable products for striping the colour out .. Try Big W / Spotlight / Chemists .. would be the main stockists

Unless you are wearing them on your head...just wear them, or go get a box of black dye from the grocery store and soak them in that overnight. Other than that... | ...suffer in your jocks. | | Pink is the new pastel rose. Sounds like you are worrying over nothing...aren't you?

learn from your mistake....but wear the clothes anyway.......so theyre pink? so what?........ most men are colour blind anyway, or colour ignorant..........

I got a whole heap of pink stuff, it's all over! there's no redemption, what do they use to dye stuff red anyway, rusty nails?, how come that shit cant' maintain its integrity when the rest of the spectrum is holding its own quite happily!.Fuck red tea towels.

I did this too. My wife used a product she got from Franklins to fix it all better. Seriously, there's a readily available product on the shelf that fixes up the running dye stuff up.. I cant remember what its called... but get down to the laundry aisle and look all coy... someone will rescue you... indeed.... put on your best smile and maybe its teh place to pick up a nice blue rinser for the evening.HUgsStalky

there are several products to try, 'colour run' is the name of a different one to 'run away'.Always wash your new coloured items by themselves the first few times, maybe throw in some other item that you don't mind getting stained. That way you'll know what things have dye that runs and which is colourfast/finished losing colour.
