I totally agree Schroe, . I love making love on the floor in front of an open fire.... it is romantic and a big turn on. . The perfect combo is an outdoor spa or jacuzzi and an open fire. Any guys with that combo, please message me! LOL . Cheers, Saturn

I know what you mean and am definitely a bit of a country boy at heart. The best investment I ever made was in a little place down on Wilson's just this side of Yanakie. It's a bit rustic with a huge open stone fireplace and about the first thing I put in after getting electricity in (was just solar and generator) was a big jacuzzi hot tub out on the back deck overlooking the prom itself. | Stunning view at night, wish I could get down there more often...and just had to make a deal with the critters that what happens on prom nights stays at the prom. Well, all except for those damn cockatoos...they make more noise than anything else that goes on at the prom. |Most of the time.

Prom night or did you mean Porn night? | Just make sure to drain and sterilize the hot tub and just totally disregard those little underwater gizmos when ya'all start splashing around. | They are not cameras. Oops sorry Schroedinger... didn't mean to play with you I was just in a wicked mood yesterday. :PTo answer your question, yes it probably does make you superficial although no more than wanting to sleep with someone because they have a nice rack or something. xxMeeka

Recently this very naughty couple took me away to the mountains and we stayed in a lovely cottage with a fire place. And do you know they made me go out into the woods to collect the fire wood!! And I saw the biggest mofo rabbit I have ever seen in my life. I mean this rabbit was bigger than the kangaroos! Cute though. :P Unfortunately the fire always seemed to go out ... so I can honestly say I have never made LURVE in front of a fire on a bear skin rug. xxMeeka

I have an open fire. Not even a firebox, it is completely open and a double sided one as well so I have one in the lounge room and one in my bedroom. There is nothing cosier than an open fire. The closed in fireplaces arent even quite the same thing.

Schroedinger - "... no, not a post about American foreign policy, but as a city dweller on these chilly nights I miss lounging in front of an open fireplace. Am I superficial if sleep with someone because they have domestic heating that appeals to me? " HAHAHAHAAAAA..................thats AWESOME!!! I had a mate (not me i swear) that slept with a woman because he was hungry. 4am with all the shops shut & he was starving.....so he left me (to go home myself), went & cleaned her out ;).....then filled himseslf from the fridge & let himself out. He got a fuck & a feed & was very content by the time he arrived home about 3 hours later.

Open fires, combustion heaters, chimneas, bonfires and anything that emits smoke into the air should be banned in the city. It's great in the country as you can get away from it but quite frankly I am sick of choking on smoke from surrounding houses the minute the temperature drops below 20C. Yes, it's nice to cosy up together while you burn your lips on a toasted marshmallow but that's on the inside. Unless there is a strong breeze or some gusty wind to take it away the smoke outside makes it hard for me to breathe. So yes, it is shallow to sleep with someone (in the city) for their source of heating if it causes others respiratory distress.

Aww come on MT, conpared to the smoke that spews out from a car, bus or truck let alone all those industrial stacks in the bigger cities....just close your windows and turn on the air purifier. I know you said everything, but it's a long walk between the 7-11 stores...and a guy has to make a living somehow, right? | Quoting 'MistressT'Open fires, combustion heaters, chimneas, bonfires and anything that emits smoke into the air should be banned in the city. | So I guess what you are saying is that if a bear shits in the woods (I know this is Australia, but "a wombat doing wees" just does not sound the same) and you have to put up with the smell anyway...keep the fires burning, but just out in the country? | Guess you forgot, being a city chick and all, that you can also roast weenies over an open fire... | ...and charge extra for it! | | Gives a whole new meaning to chestnuts and hot chicks too!

But a trip in the country side anywhere...looking at what is left of houses that have burned to the ground...it is always the Chimney - the place where the fire should have been! I love open fires but prefer them to be outside...ie Bonfire,Camp cooking... I do have a slow combustion wood heater which I love...and have found that it produces more heat than an open fire, it is still mesmerising to stare at...and little risk of the house burning down while I am asleep next to it... Schroedinger...I don't know if you are superficial for wanting to sleep with someone simply because you like their choice in domestic heating...but if it is important to you I suppose you could add it to your profile as a preference - "you will have the fire - I will supply the wood"

I live in a semi rural part of western Sydney. There are horses in the paddock next door, sheep in the field behind and alpacas, cows and chickens up the road. It's not just the bear shit in the air around here but the wonderful smell of a well fertilized field. I don't mind because it doesn't make me wheeze or cough, unlike the smoke from various chimneys and bonfires. As for roasting weenies - I don't need a fire to do that!!!

So if I told you I had some wonderful suede ankle strap platform stiletto heels that I love to wear with my silky, sheer stockings with the seam up the back attached to my leather corset you wouldn't take an interest? Or the fact that I have found a wonderfully soft pair of micronet fishnet tights that have a cute lace insert that looks like lacy suspenders built in? Perhaps you would prefer my black platform mary-janes and the black tights with the red seam up the back? Of course it's not a fetish.....not really......maybe just a bit......!
