Over 40's Parties

We are extremely new to the scene in Sydney and very nervous as we are not quite sure what to expect. We thought the best thing to do would be to try out the party environment (with no pressure). However all the parties advertised seem to be targeted at 18-40 year olds (we are 45 and 43 and open minded). We aren't model material but good (and fun) for our age. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi My partner and I went to our first party 3 days ago, it was a Killing Kittens party for 18 to 55 year olds. Very relaxed environment,no pressure to participate and it's ok to watch others. I will add we met a great couple and had a wonderful first experience. Good Luck

Ironic isn't it that most of us hit our prime at this age 😉 over 50? I don't feel like I am, still feel like a teenager, just the years have passed sigh 😊

all fun and partying and sense of humour disappears at 65. Sigh!If only I could feel I Touch like a teenager.

Finding any parties in SA is hard, let alone 40+ friendly! I'd like to check one out when next in Melbourne. Although I think just meeting up with some of the fine and funny ladies here (mostly in other states then me - boooo!) would be classified as a party 😁 - Posted from rhpmobile

Why don't you try that swingers club. Our secret spot. I've only been a few times, awhile ago now to be honest, but it definitely caters people of your excellent vintage! :) Most clubs have a night for people new to the scene so perhaps OSS also does? That would be a great introduction to the scene. I think anyway. In my opinion it's easier to stand back and observe in a swingers club if that is what you feeling like doing than at a swingers private party. Or perhaps that's just me - I'm an observer first before I jump in to join.

Hi, The swingers group I attend the ages are about 34 to 37 and 54 to 58 on avg most are couples so that's 57 attending and 5 of us are female no single males not yet any way , 13 th May, NZ and I,m coming up 70 in Aug.theres a few of us whom get on well and natter, I still have not been asked to join in playtime. So wether my age is a turn off I don't know and I,m too shy to ask about joining in. So a ?, in Mellbourne what chance is there for myself as I,ll be there in July 7 th for 3 weeks, doubt I,d be asked any way let alone know any one who would be interested in meeting this kid. even just to say hi to a Kiwi, from NZ. cant see it happening. oh well, ...noeleena...
