A pansexual is attracted to personality. There are tests that can be taken to differenciate between bisexual and pansexual. Europian Bliss is only the second person I've encountered who has described themselves as 'Pan'. A young woman I worked with was engaged to a man whom she caught twice philandering so left him. She then took up with a woman. This woman was pleasant enough most of the time but in every disagreement she would accused the other person of racism. Her grandparents were Aboriginal and although you couldn't tell from her appearance, she carried a huge chip on her shoulder. They split and for a while my work friend went out with my step-daughter but returned to her previous girlfriend. They both moved interstate but still couldn't make it work. My former work colleague is now married to her ex-girlfriends male cousin and raising a young family. I'm hetero myself. That's the way I'm 'wired' and I'm happy with that. I can't say it's better than being gay, bisexual or pansexual, it's just who I am. Each of us needs to be comfortable with their own wiring.

"Pan Sexualtiy or omnisexuality is sexual attraction desire etc all gender indentities - men AND women. Self Identified pansexuals may consider pansexuality a sexual orientation and refer to themselves as gender blind - asserting that gender and sex are insignificant and/or irrelevant in determing whether will be sexually attracted to others." - thankyou Wiki   In others word word like strait, bi, gay, lesbian etc - all labels will no longer valid - pansexuality is the attraction to all     There is many a evolutionist that believes sthat this will be the sexuality of the future...- you will literally love all and sundry irrespective of gender...there will no labelling...     Personally I think this is a good thing

Quoting 'Shinasbabe27'   In others word word like strait, bi, gay, lesbian etc - all labels will no longer valid - pansexuality is the attraction to all     There is many a evolutionist that believes sthat this will be the sexuality of the future...- you will literally love all and sundry irrespective of gender...there will no labelling...     Personally I think this is a good thing I met a pansexual couple l last Friday night. Its just sooo hard to describe how good the connection was and the sex was amazing. It was very vanilla but the intensity was such a rush. Its just soo different from the other rushes you get when being with bi or hetro people. Im not saying that being pan is better. Just saying i works soo much better for me.

I get it. I my self are only attracted to males that’s how it is. But I like vanilla sex more then all this performing, in sex. I think being with someone and having sex is each time different when you just let it flow. Thank you for explaining it so nicely. Also thinking about the future and we wouldn’t have any labelling anymore for no one it would take the hate out of so many things. Cheers Litonya

We read this yesterday and were still confused what the difference was and what group was so dicrete (meaning different to others) that they needed a seperate label. So we researched it and found an answer that explained it quite clearly. We posted the link to this but the moderators obviously didn't like the link or the question that we posed with it about why we claim to hate being labelled but seem unable to avoid the need to label ourselves. Because the answers so far did not seem to actually get to the core of the difference between pan and bi sexuality we have copied the text below because we thought it explained a lot and maybe the moderators will be happier with the text than the link. If you find someone attractive and they find you attractive then thats great and it is wonderfull that you can enjoy each others company. Surely that should be enough without the need to label it, but we each get to choose what we want for ourselves and why so label away if it helps.     Bi sexual vs Pan sexualThere is some overlap when defining bisexual and pansexual orientation; however, there are important differences between the two identities. Bisexual people are attracted sexually and romantically to both males and females, and are capable of engaging in sensual relationships with either sex. Despite being able to form meaningful, lasting relationships with both sexes, bisexual individuals may, to a small or large degree, have a preference for one sex over the other. Similarly, pansexual people may be sexually attracted to individuals who identify as male or female; however, they may also be attracted to those who identify as intersex, third-gender, androgynous, transsexual, or the many other sexual and gender identities. The latter distinction is what draws the line between pansexuality and bisexuality. People who self-identify as pansexual do so with purpose, to express that they are able to be attracted to various gender and sexual identities, whether they fall within the gender binary or not. Recognition of the existence of different genders and sexualities is a major aspect of pansexual identity. Pansexual people are bisexual, in-fact; however, bisexuality does not place the same emphasis on sexual and gender identity awareness, but more simply indicates attraction to the two (generally accepted) biological sexes.
