Lingerie shopping has to be one of my most favourite activities. However I must admit that as of late, I've been stuck for inspiration. I've found Pleasure State's recent lines are quite boring, and to be honest, other than that, there isn't much else on the Australian retail market. Other brands like Loveable, Elle MacPherson, Chloe & Lola and Calvin Klein I've noticed are moving more towards the 'everyday wear' category, and shops like La Senza don't hold much appeal (I'm not so much a fan of leopard print with lime green lace).   I've found one shop in the city on Pitt St Mall (the name escapes me), which had something I've never seen before - a g-string with the string being a string of freshwater pearls. Intruiging, but very, very expensive (and painful if your partner didn't know and made you go out to dinner first). Nice store though, they had a stunning (although sulky-looking) lingerie-clad model handing out champagne last Thursday night.   I've heard on the grapevine that Victoria's Secret is supposed to be opening up a store soon in Sydney.. and I do miss Agent Provocateur (managed to get my hands on some while in Paris last year). Most of my latest panties have been coming off Asos, which stocks some lovely Pour Moi pieces.   So ladies: What brands are your favourite and where do you go?   Gentlemen: What brands do you buy for your lady friends?

    Call me burlesque, but I like corsets with my lingerie. In Melbourne, its Vicious Venus, Marquis De Sade, and Siren Doll for me. If you have your own Abn e.g. retail shop of any kind, you can shop at Venus lingerie which is in Burwood but found online, and is a wholesaler. La Senza has some weird ideas about colour combinations doesn't it, but staff there tell me the company has some affiliation with Victoria's Secret, but shopping at the real thing would be better for sure, as long as it caters for a reubenesque femme like me. X x

    I like any brand that the lady likes. The pleasure is in going shopping with her. The problem I have is in finding a lady who likes lingerie and enjoys shopping with a man for it.

    Hello my lovely! There are a couple of good internet lingerie sites that we sometimes get sexy underwear from. One is Fredericks of Hollywood and the other is Wicked Temptations. Not particularly good quality but very sexy nonetheless.   There is a nice Canadian Brand called Arianne which we have bought in the past - very classy and beautiful intricate lace designs.     I believe the Knickers you are refering to come from Honey Birdettes.Very Hawt - Mrs Rough surprised me with the pearls knickers last year - Obviously i LOVE them Also a fan of Wicked Weasels, and they constantly update their styles!

    How about you PM me the amount you want to spend, and your sizes, then I go to the shops for you and purchase items of a designer type, in turn you go to the shops I give you my sizes and purchase items of same monetary amount, once we both have the items ready for shipping we send on the same day Then await the surprise, throwing caution into the wind and see if you’re happy or not, though I think you would be, however up to you and I think takes your thought away from your self and just go grab stuff for a bloke and that’s not hard surely, leaves all the guess work to me What do you say?? Up for it ?? If you really don’t like what I get you and it still has labels on etc and not worn maybe we can swap back or some thing

    Italian.... French..... silk, lace...... buy mine online (Rosamosario features heavily in my wardrobe - through net-a-porter.com)Shopping spree in New York this August where I'll stock up on Agent Provocateur, Ritratti etc.Try 'La Petite Coquette' for pearl G-strings.Every girl needs a little luxury

    used to sell male g strings, some were of the Bonds brand as well! most basic, simple, light and comfy. Look on line and they're all too bloody fancy. The assumption seems to be mainly metro-sexual or gay. some of us just like wearing them because they are comfortable, support is still there with out the chaffing etc. lol oh and online.... exy! I've never had a problem buying nice lingerie for my gal and spending the dollars, but how does one justify 25 to 50 bucks for a basic bit of cloth and elastic for a bloke. lol .... don't need the lace and stuff they seem to have now on mens g's and thongs. and some just a little too much for everyday wear. some of us are on basic incomes as well! But hey, such is life. Keep smiling anyway.....

    The gorgeous Dita von Teese has her own lingerie range, distributed through Target and possibly online. It's in stock in Perth but I'm not sure about other states. I've seen a few of the pieces, and they are INCREDIBLE! If I weren't an impoverished student I would've bought them all! One day...

    Haha like it, think I will have to get a larger dictionary if I am to stay on here and keep posting so not to ask such questions Happy you pictured it with your over-active imagination but think of my poor mind with thoughts like this buzzing around all the time (I have to live with it, as cant run away from it) ha maybe I should dictate my thoughts to a Dictaphone as I walk the street or drive along and put them to paper but then I will more than likely end up in some padded dungeon some where never to be heard of again. That in its self could be a good thing if women ran the joint they put me in To much of topic so will leave it there for now, lol

    my gf buys her own most of the time and she doesnt and i dont mind the odd lacey g on me for a change generally of no name as i dont think guys can get that sorta stuffin good brands

    We are avid fans of Honey Birdette, here in Australia, and have quite a few of their items. One of our favourites is the G string featuring a strand of pearls, and then some "tail feathers". On another site, we had an admirer (He is a very well known, highly qualified surgeon), who used to send very expensive lingerie to our PO Box. The only condition was that we take a few photos of MrsD wearing the lingerie and email to him. We never met him in real life and he never knew our real names. Mrs D did pose seductively for him on webcam once, during a trip to Paris.
