Parties/clubs in Melbourne without compulsory dress-down?

If you are happy wearing bathers on the beach then you shouldn't feel uncomfortable wearing the same at a swingers party. You might want to start with the meet and greet parties where you remain in public and hence wear regular muggle clothing and simply talk to swingers. There is a beach-based one tomorrow but the pub-based one next week is already booked out (I think). In the clubs I've been to just about everyone removes clothing but play participation is never compulsory. Most clubs have separate areas where being fully dressed is entirely acceptable but you would be expected to remove outer layers if you want to visit the play areas. Going into the play areas doesn't mean you need to play - often there are newbies or shy folk who just want to watch the activities. Private parties are more variable. There may be couples who are very comfortable to go completely nude as soon as they arrive but usually the evening progresses from fully clothed to less so over a couple of hours so you can leave anytime if you become uncomfortable with the scenery. Parties may progress at different rates depending on how well everyone knows each other but generally the endpoint is the same.
