  I don't know if your objective on RHP is to meet people or find people to chat/socialise with online only but it's fairly easy to avoid these psuedo couples if you let them know that you're only looking to meet people in real life. That eliminates a good portion of pretenders. Guys pretending to be couples/girls can really only offer messages exchanges/pic swaps/or endless msn chats as interaction. Real couples will generally put out their phone number eventually in order to ring and arrange a date. In that sense it's simple to avoid them.I suggest: only messaging/replying to couples who are verified or have validations, and once you have established contact and worked out that you're compatible, then arrange a date to meet. Get the ladies to talk on the phone if you want to be doubly sure.

  So i would like to know how can we stop it!!!!!!!!!!!!   Pretty much as suggested above: As soon as you feel like both sides are interested, suggest to talk on the phone. If it's a couple, make sure you talk to both male and female. If "she"/"they" seemed interested in the first message or two but never called you and never replied after you gave a contact number, well, you saved some time from being wasted.

  Ask to verify the profile.Oh, my profile is not verified. I am not a female faking to be a male either. I verify by phone or am personally known by other RHPérs.If you believe the profile has breached the Site rules, report the fake profile.  Not uncommon for guys to use female profiles to gain access to Chat rooms and such.

  Pretending to be someone else is bad enough.......but we think telling people that you want to meet them and making all the arrangements and travel...and then not showing up and not answering the phone is far worse..... especially when there is never an explanation as to the reason ....Time to practice  what you preach

  We luckily are pretty good at picking guys who pretend to be couples by adopting e j melbs approach,if we are suspicious we try and talk to both on the mobile asap before we meet,and if whoever starts to come up with all the excuses as to why they both cannot say a quick hello......well there you go,great post from 2more4fun aswell. It also happens in chat with all genders,if you want a fresh start for whatever reason on a new profile be honest and up front about who you are/ were,nobody likes to be decieved,they are pretty easy to spot though as the personality disorders/habits shine through almost immediately,it is bemusing when they are sprung and demand a fair go and second chance after decieving the majority by claiming to be someone else for weeks or months..........never quite seen the value in that approach   happy hunting kittycat  brenbob68

  Yes, I must say it is a bit of a lottery at times.  Can be most annoying indeed!
