Performance related nervs

February 14 2013

I get crap performance anxiety. Some times I relax and master it, but other times I turn into a frustrated twat. I've been like this as long as I can recall. Before I'd run on to the Rugger pitch I'd find my self doing "20 tiny pisses". The urinal laughing back at my inability.I've recently decided to get my HR (truck) licence. I've been doing one lesson a week for the past month and a bit. Today was my practical test. I do a one hour warm up lesson and the road ranger box and I get on like long lost buddies sitting for the first time in a highway greasy spoon. My instructor wanted me to take the practical a lesson earlier actually. It's looking good.I get back from my test and the instructor is not in the company air conditioned office. No, he's standing on the kerb waiting to see how I did.. More impressive since it's humid and hot.I climb down, taking care for three points of contact and shake my head. The poor bastard looked so disappointed in me. If you're driving along Joondalup drive today. Keep an eye open for cogs and bearings lying randomly on the road. I'd hate to give you a puncture.Who else is crap at pressure situations and exams?

The only job interview I have ever had, I spent all morning throwing up. (got the job though!) I also get nervous for other people and I cannot for the life of me watch sport, I just can't handle the suspense. When meeting someone knew I'm a bundle of nerves. I like those kind of nerves though! So, LRE, did you pass???

I do outcome-critical work-related pressure situations brilliantly. But a fire, or natural disaster? I'll be the one cowering on the floor :(

I used to have mega bad nerves in general and was a complete introvert until I got some serious life experience under my belt. It's all about breaking out of your safety zones, the more you do the faster you'll reach those nerve control goals.I've always been nervous in job interviews but had a strange experience a couple years ago where I applied for a position interstate and had to do my interview over skype. At the time I had my leg in a cast with a broken ankle inside it so I couldn't physically get many pants on. Being an office job position I wore a shirt and tie with nothing from the waste down and kept the camera above sea level so to speak... Best interview ever, landed the job next day and had my relocation paid for a week later.

1)Remember, anything worthwhile is not easily achieved. 2) What psychs you out? Is it the fear of fucking it up or failure ...remember, the only people who fail are the ones that never try. 3) What happens if you do fuck up, what’s the worst that will happen? Have you damaged the world, hurt anyone...nope, keep it in perspective – it just mean that you have to try again doesn’t it? Now, go back and read point 1)(((hugs)))"Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight." -Benjamin Franklin

I've found half a little blue diamond can get you through, especially for the initial play meets, once you have established a rapport and gotten past the initial awkward stages you should be fine on your own ;)

hate hate HATE group situations where I have to be the centre of attention...happy to be one of the "crew" though. That would probably be the same in an orgy too, but as yet I haven't tried that theory out ;)When it comes to interviews, I seem to go into this state of calmness. I still feel really really stressed but apparently I don't show it at all and come across really relaxed and attentive. The same goes when meeting new couples too (most of the time). At least something works in my favour! :)Mr SinS

About performance anxiety in the bedroom... What a disappointment. as far as stress/nerves there's only a few things that freak me out and one of the worst for is meeting a large group for the first time, for some reason I suddenly turn shy and withdrawn. Not sure why because Tests don't bother me, interviews don't worry me and one on one meets don't scare me either. I generally do well in high pressure situations when other people are stressing to the max I am usually the one to try and calm them down.
