Perfumes or colognes?

May 29 2017

What type turns you on? Which type turn you off. Musty, pungent, corriander, citrus, soap, etc? Love a nice pleasant soapy freshy shower smelling perfume on a woman. Not a fan of old woman's perfume. Reminds me of my grandmah. She used to have a pungent nose tickling perfume. Smelt like mothballs gone wrong!

Sounds like you like Eau De Lux. Nice and soapy. Do you have a name for your favourite?

But when I go into town I will scratch and sniff. If I do not get an allergy.. I am sweet. If I am drawn to it better. If it is welcoming, then lets go.

Can't stand perfume etc.. Apart from all the chemicals they just give me a massive headache. I like essential oils though :-)

My grandfather used to always use BRUT. I hated it. Then in high school I used Brut..cause that waz what I afford. Then one of the classics came out.. Versacci Blue Jeans it was 140 bucks new. That was back in the day. Now one I bring back every once in a while just for memories. Plus you can get them for 20 bucks. BARGAN!! Old Bay Rum. The kind that the barber uses.. That is so fresh smelling.. reminds me of a clean shave and head shave. But I would neva use it as after shave. If a girl wears BODY SHOP vanilla anything I am drawn to her instantly.

Love a nice-smelling soap but cologne or aftershave I haven't used in decades. There's a couple of blokes at work who you can smell from up the hall, it's nauseating. To my mind, if you feel the need to drown yourself with colognes or bodyspray you either don't launder enough, don't shower enough, or both. I honestly can't remember the last time I encountered a woman who wore perfume. I thought all that had kind of faded away over the years.

A nice gentle soft vanilla. Not the overpowered toilet air-freshener style. I hate the alcohol smell of most perfumes. Lavender talcum powder is also gentle and nice. There are also several very nice smelling shampoos and conditioners, although i've never asked about brands to actually find out which of these are the ones i like. @Qefenta: All lynx? There's so many of them. I've been lynxing for years, not out of any real need or any expectation of having someone nostril up to me with intentions, but just out of sheer habit. I tend to just grab the one thats on special with little thought to what I'm inflicting on others... I might have to have a look at some of those nivea ones. They seem to be pretty inocuous. If someone could manage one (for men or women) that smelled like rain, then i'd be really impressed and grateful.

Lynx is fine, I love the smell of all men's products, they're so strong, just the way I like my men 😉

Haha honestly, after living by myself for a few years, not smelling men's products every day, which I used to find too strong btw I now crave, Brut would be a pantie wetter for me too. Bring both 😜

Blue Stratos isn't as easy to access as Brut33 these days, so it's been a while. But Brut33, regularly on sale at the local supermarket... Aftershave, aftershave lotion, shaving balm, deodorant & body wash (that one is mine). Love it when he kisses me goodbye after his shaving routine in the morning and how the fragrance lingers after he's gone. Peachy

Thanks for the plentiful, random variety of threads you have been posting, I've been enjoying them immensely. I tend to get my fragrances from body washes/shower gels, lots of variety, with vanilla, musky, floral & woody tones. I adore essential oils too. Mandarin and pepper make a stunning blend that's not too sweet as well as being long lasting. Peachy
