I do, my body sucks for holding scent but I have one ultimate favorite. Pity it's so darn small and expensive. I use Dottera's Whisper over anything else. I love the cinnamon, yalang yalang, patchouli, vanilla and rose. It smells like the best edible thing ever! I also keep 3 others but don't seem to use them. Lovely- jessica Parker Killer queen- Katy perry, surprisingly good. One I have actually used up. Parisienne- YSL- I dreamt about this for a week before I caved and now never use it. ๐ฃ I also love Mad Madame by Juliet Has A Gun but that's out of my price range ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฒ I like having my little expensive habit ๐ whisper wins hands down, not even a flashy bottle ๐ญ just a standard (no, actually it smaller ๐ฌ) essential oil bottle. Ouch! My favorite notes are violet, vanilla, rose. The violet seems to be the reoccurring theme in my perfume choices. If I burn oils, it's always a love or sexy pure blend. Sometimes a lavender-y relaxation blend. . I just like them best. Xx - Posted from rhpmobile

after a fight at some do..The girl I was with was into the oils and all..She said.."Your problem is, you are not in touch with your feminine side"and promptly ran me a bath.. put in oils.. scents, candles and incense.. dimmed the lights, got me a glass of nice wine.. and played some baroque music .. THEN locked me in the bathroom..ten minutes later, she heard me splashing around, and came in..I was masturbating... she freeked out a bit.. and asked "WTF are you doing?? you are supposed to be getting in touch with your feminie side"I replied... "I DID love.. but the norty little thing decided to give me a handjob!!"

Other than, Tupperware, crystals, spare ribs, garage sales (mostly my stuff), Tara once was selling essential oils and perfumes, so she had the box of all the oils, nice box, wooden box, the oils, ...I found the box and it's right here with me now, I opened the lid so to see how many bottles and the smell is really nice, 30 bottles of oils, some blends, Lavender has been Tara's best friend, 3 pregnancies, migraines (until she had Bowen Therapy), if she ever feels nausea, Lavender oil. I think my favourite was Rose oil, you know Leo girl it takes a thousand rose petals to make one little 10 ml bottle of oil. Of all the perfumes my favourite is a No 24 on the lid of all the little bottles of perfumes she had along side the oils, so I've been a little spoilt for and as well she had some Dragons Blood incense burning lately, I like them. I bought a bottle of a blend of aphrodisiac essential massage oils and that is my favourite of all, except WD40 for obvious reasons Leo girl. Mado Mado Tara xx

Fresh linen, crisp cottons - they draw me like a bug to flame. I like vanilla scents and subtle jasmine, too. My all time favourites (at least for now), would be Elizabeth and James' Nirvana Black or Dolce and Gabbana's The One. Not cheap, but worth it, especially on days where I need some 'sunshine' in my life.

... and as such are powerful triggers. I can't really name any fragrances for women in particular yet recall the woman and how she did smell and when appropriate even taste. Any similar fragrance will smell differently on any two women. Some of the most powerful memories for me are things like the smell of a Thanksgiving turkey roasting, my Great-grandfather's soggy old green rowboat at dawn and the incredible smell under the canopy of an ancient fir forest. As for me... I have a small collection of fragrances that I wear when going out...Ralph Lauern Polo Black, Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb, Versace Eros and Paco Rabanne 1 Million. Day to day and just kicking around... I'm fine with being freshly showered and wearing nice deodorant. Happy rainy Saturday....

and I adore browsing through Myer or the DJ's perfume counters. Its like a magical little fairy land that smells awesome. I am a perfume slut and I have many. And the reason I have so many which I do wear every day, is to date, I still cant seem to find my "signature" scent. I've tried and loved so many fragrances, but rarely does anyone comment on what I wear, so after all this time I've come to realise that my skin just doesn't seem to take to it and absorb it in. So now I wear it simply because it makes me feel good I must have a strong sense of smell as I always seem to notice when people are wearing perfume and I love it when they walk pass me and the whiff of deliciousness follows them At home I love fresh citrus smells , like lime, lemon and orange and I use these smells as best I can in my cleaning products. I also love vanilla, caramel or coffee so when I burn candles or melts, which I do a lot as I have two little kitties and I like my home to smell fresh and not of kitty, these are my favs. Once I read a long time ago, a tip by Qefenta who posted about making ironing easier by spraying your clothes with water infused with lavender essential oil and that this helps remove wrinkles from your clothing. I started doing this and it does work, so I do have a whiff of lavender following me around most days, and that's the smell most people comment on. Thanks Qefenta

Is my signature perfume. I think my favourite aroma is freshly baked breads and brewed coffee. But then there is also the fresh smell of a trickling stream and mother nature. Essential oils are good for medicinal purposes and cleaning, in my view. - Posted from rhpmobile

I'll put my hand up and freely admit that when I'm walking about in a shopping centre or in a place where the environment won't make it a waste of effort? When I see a woman coming that I find attractive and inhale deeply as we walk past each other. What was that movie... ''Scent of a Woman'' and whilst I am not been blind, I have walked right into a wall at Chaddys when everything connected. I also loiter in both the perfume and lingerie departments at DJ's and Meyers'... shhhh it's not illegal and we all have our little secrets! Fudge chocolate brownies baking in the oven... even better than that!!

I'm a big fan of scents and they are very linked to memories for me. Some women buy shoes, or hand bags, I buy perfume ! I have so many a few faves (but they are all my faves) are LILY by Stella McCartney, Stella by Stella McCartney, jadore, lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker, very irresistible by givinchy, Ralph(reminds me of being in high school) and Ralph Romance by Ralph Lauren, bamboo by Gucci is my newest addition - but my scent changes based on my mood therefore I would say i dont have a signature scent. On men I adore Joop Homme. Other scents I love- Vanilla Rain the smell of spring (when there is pollen everywhere) Home grown roses flowers in general freshly baked bread & cookies Lavender Petrol (weird) Matches when they have been lit and extinguished The personal scents of people I love Coconut Lime The ocean on the flip side there are scents i cannot stand I was just having this discussion with a friend because one of them is citrus scented cleaning products - they drive me insane - yucky! I also don't like sandalwood or lemongrass.

But there is a certain smell of street food mixed with pungent garbage that is at once pleasant and unpleasant as it reminds of Hong Kong - particularly the big sheet metal pans with tripe simmering in them (that isn't the pleasant part, just the location is)

Its like a psycadelic wonderland ... so peaceful and relaxing. LG The wooden box is the starter kit for Le Reve, so are the small bottles of perfumes, Tara said "it was a really good price, about one third of the cost and that was the incentive, she could buy a bottle of Orange oil for $3, sale price $15, Rose oil was $56, could buy it for $22. Wow Tara was 25 yrs with our first bub, we're still burning oils, so it was well worth it, she earned the cost back easily, easy to sell, some of the essential oils you can buy from here or there are not pure oils, they don't smell the same, more like a urinal tablet. Pure vanilla essence, over vanilla flavoured essence Pure maple syrup, over maple flavoured syrup Tara puts a couple drops of lavender oil in a small perfume bottle filled with water, she sprays it onto the pillows and our little girl says "it makes her have happy dreams with rainbows, fairies, sparkles and rainbow unicorns and smells like heaven" Onions, fresh basil and garlic frying in butter smells the best part of spaghetti Bolognese, especially when really hungry. What was it with moth balls ?

I smelt like fairy floss! I can than Viktor & Rolf Bon Bon for that :) when I'm feeling sweet, it's that! When I'm feeling like I want to dominate you, it's Black XS and a daytime scent synonymous with me is Lancome's Poem! In my home, I have essential oils burning regularly, either lavender or frangipani :) I love my house smelling warm and clean :) Mary xx

Of my favourites scents to wear are Chopard's Wish which is what I wore on my wedding day, Prada's Prada Infusion De Fleur D'Oranger, Van Cleef and Arpels - Van Cleef (which I found by following the smell around Pacific Fair until I found who was wearing it) or Patchouli oil on its own. And I'm dying to get my first bottle of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle! On men I like something with a chocolate under like Rochas Man and I can't stand the smell of overwhelming spice. Other smells I love: the rain, fresh linen, my children after their bath (I could eat them), petrol and diesel, candles after they've been put out, fresh croissants, leather and hide, maple syrup and cow manure or cattle (which reminds me of holidays on a farm)

A properly prepared and potted corned beef simmering away for a few hours with balsamic vinegar, whole cloves, brown sugar and cinnamon. The coup d'grace is when I make a hot seeded mustard dressing for the beef and let it gently heat up during the last 15-20 minutes of preparation. Comfort food extraodinare!

In about the last hour or so of simmering the corned beef, slab off the fat then remove it from the pot. Add about a tablespoon of freshly grated nutmeg. This should be nearly an aroma rather than a flavour and can be heavy enough to overpower the other ingredients. Love ya, Nigella.......

Quoting 'Summersolstice' Sistine Chapel candle by Glasshouse again (they stopped making them), that smells like frankincense and myrrhe. Divine! I was in a crystal and candle shop yesterday and they had an oil burner going with a the combination of myrrh, bergamot and lavender oils together. Divine!

The amount of times that my ex was stopped by strangers who were compelled to ask her what she was wearing was astonishing. She could walk into a room and you could actually see heads turning, wondering were the scent came from. I just asked her what it was...and she was a little reluctant to disclose her secret...particularly as I told her that I wanted to post it here...but she told me anyway. Spiritual Sky Purfume...Night Queen Scent... (copy & paste)

When I get down to starting a sensual massage, I dribble my preferred oil (light musk) down the woman's back, arms. legs & front - then I massage it in. It is amazing how much oil is absorbed before she becomes slippery enough to massage safely without causing an discomfort. While there are other scents available (yes, sandalwood is nice too), I've never had any complaints with the musk - it's not overpowering.

I love it when I catch a whiff of a man's cologne that has a subtle hint of musk in it. Usually, I don't get to ask the man which cologne he used because I get too turned on and start nuzzling their necks and it gets too toe-curlingly good for me to remember to ask that mundane question, in the whole scheme of things that unravel... :D My base perfume is usually Body Shop's Cherry Blossom. It doesn't have staying power and it is too delicate, but I love the scent. I will then select a 2nd complementary perfume over that, which would usually be either BCBG Max Aria, BCBG Max Aria Bon Chic, or one by Salvatore Ferragamo, or one of Escada's. I'm usually disappointed by the perfume's low sillage and perfume doesn't seem to linger long enough on me. I love L'Occitane's perfumes but they hardly have any sillage at all. I've been curious about Marc Jacobs' perfumes and might eventually obtain a bottle. As for essential oils for the oil burner, I love Ylang Ylang, Rose, and a whole lot of flower-based essential oils. I've got cubes of soy melts with gorgeous fragrances that were ordered online and simply fabulous! In the Winter months, I bring out all the votives and votive holders and light dozens of them in the lounge area. They provide awesome ambient light and fragrance when watching TV / listening to Music, times when you do not need to turn on the bright lights. ;) I love the purple-coloured, flower-fragranced candles and votives from Ikea. I rotate the votive holders as per mood and it keeps things interesting. :D Great topic, OP! ;)

I have a bottle of some blue liquid (no, it's not Gin) that I use every now and then but I have no idea what it's called(I think my description deserves a prize).Day to day I just go with deoderant. I love the smell of nutella, onions cooking, roasted potatoes, parmesan, vanilla extract and almonds. I also love the smell of bakeries and patisseries in France, the ones here don't cut it! It's too bad I can't eat anything from them. I, for some inexplicable reason, enjoy getting a very quick whiff of dead animals but any extended smell quickly turns sour. Is that the 'sweet' part of 'sickly-sweet'?

If you can tell the players without a score card, don't go into the barn alone with your bucket! There are feeders and breeders... stockers and rockers. When I think of scents especially perfumes I think of migraines so I don't know the names of any. Very occasionally I will smell one that doesn't make me instantly sick. I only use body shop vanilla. Freshly cut grass and rain on a hot road are happy scents for me.
