  Hmmmm. I'd love to know which club you went to @lilwednesday77 as we went to one on Saturday night for the first time and it was.......an experience to say the least. Lol

  I think it really depends on the event. We have been to some events that were really good, but a lot of the time our experience has been as you described... 😒

  Our experience as a broad generalisation is that Saturday evenings seem to be busier than Fridays, and events that have a particular theme are often better attended. That being said, every night is a bit like a lucky dip depending on who else happed to decide to go along on the night and how you managed to interact socially with them. That is all part of the adventure of the unknown and it only takes that one interaction that sets off sparks to make the difference between ordinary and extraordinary. Find ways to enjoy the social experience and adventure of the unknown while keeping the hopes (and dare I say expectations) that lead to disappointment in check and you will give your extraordinary a chance to find you too.....so keep trying!   I know what you mean lil. I notice that the dress code isn’t policed which can be disappointing and on occasions, the imbalance of m/f can make it seem like a sausage fest which can then translate to a vibe of desperation. BUT - I’ve had some great times nonetheless. It’s just a shame that the walk doesn’t match the talk.

  Perhaps pick a themed event so dresscodes meet your expectations 🤷‍♂️ As mentioned before any night is a raffle but the good times often outweigh the bad.

  Have you tried Arcane? The clubs can be a hit or miss sometimes. Thursday to Saturday is usually good at infusions 103 is good on Wednesday Friday and Saturday. Couple of interesting events coming up for long weekend. Infusions is good on their theme nights. Also look for 3some Parties on RHP have some good events

  I've found events run by Mye_Place at Club103 have been better than most. They focus on managing their events with consent and respect foregrounded, expected, supported and enforced. Not all events at 103 are run by the same people...

  Start off at Sensationz, when I take a play partner and they haven’t been too a club before I go too Sensationz . Wednesday night is a good night too feel your way through and get comfortable. Hope this helps
