Point Impossible vs Sunnyside North Beaches....

  Hi Minx, Great Topic, Well being an Ex Victorian I visited Point Impossible on many occasion but never been to Sunnyside, I was told in the chat room that Sunnyside was the better, but in answer to your question I enjoyed Pt Impossible and would prefer to go to a spot where I had many a good time, Thanks for the post I like it.

  I've only been to Sunnyside with company, and only seen where Pt Impossible is. Obviously one is a bayside beach, and the other an ocean beach. So one is going to be reliably safer for swimming, although some will prefer the waves of the ocean. The Pt is closer to amenities I believe, you have to walk a reasonable bit to reach the nude part of Sunnyside (there's a general public Sunnyside beach section closer to the carpark and toilet block).

  Point Impossible for us as on our side of town. Sunny side years ago was nice but parking and crowds could be a challenge at times.

  Due to unacceptable and continued lewd behaviour by mainly male patrons, City Council are taking steps to revoke the nude status of Sunnyside Beach. It will be a pity of it is closed down

  I can’t comment on PI as I’ve never been, but been to Sunny and few times and think it’s great and people seem respectful…. Given the weather today….I might actually head there soon as it’s supposed to start raining again later this afternoon
