Professional Photos

October 27 2013

Hey guys, I have been looking into getting some photos done, not to mail off to modeling agencies haha, just for my own private collection and maybe for the eyes of a few friends :P My question is can any of you lovely people recommend any companies or individuals? I have researched a bit, but so hard to tell if they are any good or not. I will be in Perth and Brisbane/Gold Coast in the coming months so it doesn't have to just be in Sydney either. Thankyou in advance :) Gracie

... and talked to some of friends. The general feedback was simple - find some one you like (and trust), professional or amateur, and go with the flow.So we will watch this thread and see what comes up from it. We have our own collection taken by ourselves but it would be nice to have someone take some of me (Mrs) and us ... nice thought and good question. Thanks Gracie :-)

Hi guys, I have a photography and cinematography background and am happy to offer services to fellow RHP members. I understand it is a very delicate area because you absolutely must ensure whomever you choose has discretion and trustworthiness. Would be happy to discuss it further and either offer my services or advise, whichever is more appropriate Cheers.

She was a very popular poster here for a while from WA.Unsure tho is she still does photography anymore??FoxyPS- Make sure you keep the negatives and they are deleted from the photographers device as soon as they put them on your stick. I remember LADY T used to say that all the time. Last thing you want is your pics spread out over the net and your mother finds them.

I have recently bought myself a decent quality digital camera and am no stranger to photography. Never done it professionally but still a dab hand, having taken pics for many a year. Happy to talk if you're interested.   Tall

There are lots of people that can help you. What you want is someone with a good camera and lens. Someone that knows about lighting and composition. Then the final part of course is post production. Someone who knows how to use the many image editing applications like photoshop. Finally you need someone that has the same sense of style or can understand what style you are after. Best to just take lots and lots of photos. Every now and then a good one can come along and after time you will have you private collection of great photos.Do your selves a favorite and by a digital SLR with at least one good lens. Take the time to learn how they work and within a few weeks you will be snapping shots like the professionals. Photography is not difficult at all, all you need is a good eye and a little intelligence.

A client of mine who has several photography franchises in Oz, actually got emailed by a woman for some boudoir style pics. She said she had her own set up and ect. as he wont have the props.Anyway, after consulting the guys (us), he went on to do the shoot. He said it was a nervy start, but good experience. He is a professional and she enjoyed the pics and the photo shop finale. Its not something he advertised or ever will.Maybe get an idea of what you seek/ like and etc. Do some research and see a few local photographers/ interns. The professional angle is of course the best with no thoughts on worry. Be sure to communicate your vision/ ideas.

Thanks Gracie :-)Dean Agar in Qld is good he takes them with his wife so it's all above board. cost can vary but expect to pay 600-1000 dollars which is reasonable. We have had a few different sessions with different photographers - be careful do your home work and don't pay too much attention to the net - we had a "Pro" in Adelaide years ago who just kept pushing us to "go for it" and Relax let it happen" he just wanted to photograph us having sex - not what we went for.

offer my photographic services ? I'm sure every man and his dog likes to claim their skill with their trusty old Kodak Box Brownie and take some wonderful pics. Guys'. Not a good look. Too man claiming the same thing. Best bet Gracie, is to find someone with the right credentials.. Male or female, but I think a male who knows his stuff could probally coax the sexy side out of you more so. Good luck..
