Profile pics and public photo's…where's the colour?

Whilst scrolling down a forum topic recently, it occurred to me that the majority of thumbnail profile pics werea drab grey or brown…with very few splashes of colour..the blues, greens and reds. I notice that some have a rotation of photos..I change from time to time..while others are ageless, and never change. The question in my mind, good forumites, is…What thinking is behind your choices of profile picture, and to a lesserdegree, your public photos? For me…it was about selling my "Brand" honestly( If there's no ambiguity about me, it should keep things simple ) andmost importantly, that they portray me as I see myself. That all my photos are taken outdoors is just a coincidence.Or is it? I didn't put them together as a package all at once, more likely that is a reflection of me.

For starters, my dear friend, I just want to establish that I am ageless in my beauty. Now that is out of the way let me address the topic. When I joined 11months ago, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I just thought that I did not want a permanent or serious relationship for the current time yet I did miss the intimacy of being with a man. Doing my research and looking at other sites, I believe RHP was the best vehicle for me. I did not have any photos to share on the first 2-3 weeks so my profile pic was of the grey ghosts. Mind you I was still gettting lots of flirts and messages from gentlemen and that puzzled me. Are these men not discerning at all so as not to care what I look like before wanting to engage in intimate sexual acts? Scared me a bit as I realized I am out of my depth as I read messages from the 'brazen' men here. AT the time, more than what my vanilla head could handle. Once I figured out how to take selfies on my phone, I uploaded a couple of pics. Very conservative by rhp standards. That reflected more of my shyness and my conservatism. Fully clothed and natural. they still are up on my public gallery and I get a giggle at how much of a muggle I was. My pictures reflects my journey, a sexual awakening and path to sexual discovery. It is still ongoing. It took me a whole 6 months or so to even get the courage of shedding any clothing in front of the camera and uploading it. I remember the first one I uploaded, I felt quite dizzy from fear of the repercussion of my action. is this a Pandora's box I am about to open? But only good things came out of it. As I came to grips on the workings of this site and what it entails to meet my objectives, I saw it as a marketing exercise. Refining the whole package, profile and pictures, to reflect the sexier facet of my personality. I still prefer to meet people based on my overall personality. My needs have evolved and the pictures document those stages. However, I still will not, and never will, show any of my private parts as I still believe there are things that need to be kept private and open to discovery between two people. My pictures have just been a bit more risque yet I believe classy. And of course physical attraction plays a big role in achieving the fun we want so we show them the best pictures that best reflect us.

…I can see you put some thought into creating it. Which is exactly what I was hoping to see. It satisfies my curiosity on my Topic because your evolution has familiar aspects to my own…though mine has progressedmuch slower, partially because of the whole male thing…being on the back foot already. However, I admit I didslow down my own evolution deliberately a while ago because I still loved my ex…and I'd realised rushing into new things wasn't helping me.I still keep my photos clothed and public partially out of the conservatism you mentioned, I suspect…but mainly because a nude, public me just isn't ME. Yet.The nude, private me is quite content with this arrangement for now. Maintaining my inner peace is at the core of myconfidence and how I deal with people. I don't want to rock that boat by rushing into new waters.

I noticed the same thing recently. I think it was IOS pic with that fluro green sheet it just stood out so much. my pics are just me designed to show my body and my face hopefully at its best. I update them pretty regularly with new pics and yes rotate them with others in my collection. they are also a true reflection of me and my deepest personality that is very sexual and sensual... Some might even say explicitly sexual. but I do need to add more colour.

Not sure that is a bad thing? We choose our pics to show who we are, how we are feeling, and our pics do change regularly depending on what we have been up to lately with the camera. We try to keep our images within a month or so of being taken.

I have quite a few colourful pics, which reflects my love of colour in general. I like my public photos to be a little creative, and to show a bit of my personality in the fact that I like things that are a little 'different'. I do get quite a lot of positive comments about the outfits I wear in my pics. I also like photos that are suggestive and sexy but still leave a lot to the imagination. For my profile pic I just rotate my pics around, which includes the ones in my second private gallery as I only have a subset in my public gallery at any one time.

My main profile photo is around 7 years old as I hate getting my photo taken. With the exception of a few extra grey hairs and wrinkles around the eyes, I look pretty much the same as people who have met me can attest.

Yeah, it would be nice to see a bit more colour on here Missb. Not for any particular reason other than to brighten things up. I'm a big believer that colour indirectly affects our moods…which is why I'm going to paintthe insides of my home sky blue and white! Not too unlike your top, actually. It looks like Wing Commander Blueto me…Simple_desires…I think your exactly right. Many of the drab colours are skin tones presented in neutral bathroomand bedroom decor, with neutral towels, sheets and pillows…Like you, I try to keep my main image current…it's simpler that way…and after all, I've lost a bit of weight in recent months.On that subject, and off topic…try giving up added sugar everyone, it's the devils food!!

I've only been on the site for just over 12 months and I think my pics reflect me well. Some cover my journey, from being very vanilla, to opening my mind to a whole new world. They also show my growth, my experiences, some are colorful, some not so....I'm also an ageless beauty, (what can I say I like a good bottle of wine, I'm aging well) all my pics are recent, i think the oldest would be about this time last year at my first Sydney meet and greet. I update and change them regularly, sometimes I have my face on display, sometimes I hide it, it really just depends on my mood.... 💋 My pictures are just good pics, but still me nevertheless, I've learnt how to take a good selfie.....💋

I have other pics,they used to be here but the site won't allow me to put them up again.apparently they are the wrong size...I also used to be a gerbera...a zebra .and,for a short time a field of tulips xxFreya

When I was younger I didn't particularly care for my smile…I think I thought that I looked cooler, more masculine…own up guys…with a straight face. Now I don't care at all..

...anyone else still waiting to hit puberty? I think I have like 5 chest hairs now, so do take good care not to rip them out in the throes of passion. ;-) My pics I try to get body shots, and have face shots in the private album. I like playing around with photography and will try camera tricks here and there, but when it comes to posting photos they're generally "as is".

Mine tell a story. Look at one without looking at the rest and you will never fathom who I am.My pics are a reflection of me and my character and what Im after in other people.Pics convey a message. As does the typing.:) Fucking lovein your profile you all the way above me :P
