Rope bondage

Hi people So recently after seeing some fine examples of Japanese rope bondage I'm very keen to learn the art, it's not primarily about the sexual connotations but more the fact I find practice very aesthetically pleasing to the eye! My first point of call will probably be going to the sex shop, buying a fuck load of bondage rope and tying anything up I come across!!! But on a more serious note I would like to take lessons from a skilled master. Does anyone know of any work shops on the gold coast?

You pop on over to fetlife and follow some of the rope workshops. Definitely some in Brisbane which I think are south side so wouldn't be to far for you It's an exquisite skill to have and sexy as fuck

Northern Rivers Conscious Sexuality page. They run beginners through to advanced workshops uncle suspension and are a fun and beautiful way to connect with your partner. Or if you don't have a partner will "buddy" you up. You can buy the correct jute ropes etc at the workshops but they will provide everything you need for the lessons. Do not embarrass yourself by going there with sex shop restraints and not any know will do mate. Just sayin' ~ Indy

Thanks missb4u and safari, I've bought some silk rope but that's just for me to practice at home with, I figured that a workshop would be the best place to acquire rope that is the most suitable and cost effective. I think some of my fwb would be happy volunteers to be bound and I've watched a few videos on YouTube but I think I'd prefer to have some hands on training from someone who knows what they're doing first before anything. don't wanna go hurting anyone! I have an old FetLife account that I might reactivate to see if there's any work shops nearby. Watch this space guys :)

Has a very active rope community, "The Salon" in Brisbane, runs classes for all levels. Jump on Fetlife and join a couple of group discussions, search rope and a list of groups will come up. Everything you need to know and a bit more will be in there, including what kind of ropes are out there, where to buy them and where and when you can attend classes. There is also "Two Knotty Boys" on YouTube, good luck. 💋
