Scratch & sniff

June 10 2015

Bet that got some of you wondering Don't worry nothing insidious...just interested in hearing from both the women and men about your current favourite scent/s to wear (in whatever form...perfume / fragrance, soap / bodywash, moisturiser etc). My faves vary with season (which up here is either very hot or cool)...at the moment now that the weather is cooler I'm gravitating towards the Body Shop's shea & vanilla scents for everyday wear. If I wanted something a bit fancier & sexier I'd be pulling out the Black XS by Paco Rabanne. (But seriously, does anyone remember those scratch & sniff stickers? We used to get them in primary school. Can you still get those?)

What flavor would you like, strawberry, banana or bubble gum? 😎 this teacher has them and yes the kids still love them. My own personal favorite and I'm alternating between Modern Muse by Elizabeth Arden and Bon Bon by Viktor and Rolf. Mary xx

I used to use the old paco rabbane like in the late eighties. I now use a fairly non distinct organic spray and an organic raspberry or lemon scented soap, just lasts longer. Anything with a slight tinge of vanilla on a female drives me nuts and wild. But I miss the scratch and sniff books, loved them as a kid. Remember the textas, you can still get them like the stickers but both of those are not half as good as they used to be.

"My partner got herself a tattoo of a seashell on her inner thigh. When you put your ear to it you can smell the ocean" Back to topic: I like my smells subtle, not strong or too obvious. Vanilla is nice, haven't tried much from the body shop except for the massage oils and some body wash products. Tried bath salts from an aromatherapy place & different bubble bath products from elsewhere also. - Posted from rhpmobile

I exfoliate with a pink grapefruit ice-water freshened lotus flower with homemade coconut milk and swan semen soap. Then I get my politically dignified pet female peacock (which i feed a diet of Jerusalem artichoke and pernod soup and carbonated viogner) to pass wind delicately across my shoulders, neck and back. Right before I head out. Cos ya never know what's gonna happen. Be prepared! But failing that, Terre d'Hermes is my fragrance.

I tend to go with coconut scents especially the oil. I find I get a lot of comments when I wear Happy by Clinque smells like orange jellybeans. Makes me happy & fresh. Summer in a bottle. Citrus tones are the way to go. x - Posted from rhpmobile

Vanilla makes me queasy. My favourite would be Premier by Gucci, but a friend left me his Le Male by JPG, which makes me feel rather sexy when I wear it.

Now I know why my peacock is so politically undignified! I've been feeding him the wrong diet all this time :/ Or maybe it's just because he's a boy? In which case, there's no hope.

A recent Woolies sticker collection included scratch and sniff Luck_Dragon of different fruit and veg, lol. . I have a lifetime love affair with Brut33, for men. . For me, rose based fragrances are the best or different mixes of essential oils. Mandarin, patchouli, jasmine are some of my favourites. . That reminds me Tis, I have fragrant pens in pink, purple & light blue from my teens that I got for swapping a cigarette! Obviously, I don't use them very often. :-D

I think I'd prefer my man to smell like he stepped out of a shower an hour or few ago, scampered out the door without any bothering with aftershave. Bought a beer, while he waited for me at the local bar, and smelled just of him, while his mouth tasted like his Coopers Pale Ale. Ok fine - Maybe a Young Henry's. If you leave my sheets and pillows smelling of aftershave or perfume, I'd be tempted to throw the pillows at you.

Amani Code, took me ages to find something that suits me. Dam expensive and have been looking for an alternative but nothing comes close. I know it good stuff becauseA: I have taste :P B: Without fail when ever I wear it am told I smell nice. Its actually ridiculous how often it gets comments. Smells need to complement your natural smell, many guys dont put much effort, or none at all into finding something for them selves. It should be unique as possible, you must like it your self, always test how it smells from your skin, not in the air or off a sample patch. Never over do it. Smell can be one of the most effective aphrodisiacs, wearing your own unquie smell only for intimate, romantic, special occasions creates a very strong association. Before you know it just putting some on will get your girl wobbly at the knees. Its called Pavlovian conditioning (no its not letting a meringue stand) and makes that bond with someone you love, extra special.

The natural sexy smells we have are a big part of the intimate act and turn me on, artificial smells can be hot if you're going out somewhere maybe but just meeting for sex, be clean, freshly showered, shaved all over for this girl, and let me smell and taste your sexy self, haha, all that's required (okay deodorant, but nothing else is needed)
