Sexual reference books

April 08 2013

I was thinking of recent posts re people not getting their partner to the pleasure zone. Its hard to tell a person and its hard to hear it that things are not going to plan.   I think it helps to know what to read on this subject   So here is one book and can you all post ONE book reference only so we don’t double up we don’t want information overload.   I have not read this one yet. She Comes First: The Thinking Man's Guide to Pleasuring a Woman Ian Kerner   So maybe you can put what the book was and why it was good or bad for you. Also if you get the book and it helps you improve, let us know. TR Librarian and book club organiser   maybe we can start a book club? Freeya your in charge   this was an idea from a guy who messaged me, so thanks for the tip errrrm let me re phrase that

Clifford Bishop and Xenia Osthelder. Most fascinating book EVER. It's a collection of writings about sexuality throughout history from around the world, rituals, practices, influences, attitudes, cultures. Chapters include;'Mind and Body''Origins - The evolution of Sexual Culture''The Erotic Muse - Art and Artiface''Sexual Crucibles'Can't recommend this one enough.

''Sex at Dawn...the prehistory of modern sexuality''.. Ryan and Jetha...the authors are a psychiatrist and a psychologist. This book explores all the reasons why monogamy is a flawed and unhelpful concept. They believe that the divorce rate in Western countries is directly related to issues around infidelity...not all of course ,but in the majority of cases. They believe we have to find better solutions.

It is very good, even an old biddy like me is learning something I have sent a text to my girls to go get it, but one said Mum its written by a man, what would he know lol   I said give it to your partner and read it yourself as he sees your pussy from an angle you can never get to   she said MUUUUUUUUUUUUUM!   shakes head, why do I have such prissy daughters?

Quoting 'tuscanred' It is very good, Hi TuscanRed - Mr Otori here, I got pretty interested in this thread and the response to this book - so I grabbed it last night and read it. I have to say I really didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I was going to. Perhaps because I had too higher expectations for it, I'm not sure. Perhaps I didn't agree with the authors writing style, jumping from one spot to another referencing other books and authors or personal stories - I just didn't quite get out of this what I was hoping to.I'm very much interested in any others out there tho - so keep this thread alive :) I'd love to check some more out
