Sexy styles for men

February 14 2013

Guys, what do you wear out and about that makes you feel strong and sexy? Ladies of the forums, what styles or outfits worn by guys make you weak at the knees? I'm not a fan of suits - I work with them day in and out and they're usually ill-fitting and dull. I love a pair of slim-hipped jeans with a snug t-shirt (assuming he has the body for it). Guys should really learn about what fit in jeans makes their bum look enticing ;) I love boardies and no top ... phwoar! Even gym gear it it's not feral - nothing nicer than imagining a guy flexing his muscles. I have a thing for t-shirts with slight v-necks - just a hint of collarbone makes my fingers tingle with the urge to run my hands all over his chest. I like relaxed, beachy shirts not overdone glamour boys. And bedtime - naked (ooh la la yum) or soft flannie PJ bottoms and a white tshirt in Winter so I can snuggle! Please :)

...I tend to enjoy wearing a suit but dressed down a little, and I hate dull and ill-fitting suits. A well fitted suit makes a man look sharp but a poor fitted suit makes him look sloppy and possibly adolescent, in my opinion.I like t shirts with v necks, but not the bare-half-your-chest scoop necks that a lot of guys wear. As for jeans slim fit are good but too often I see these gym junkies with skintight jeans, they look like Earthworm Jim figurines (google image search earthworm jim). And the simpler the better. Shirts with graphics, shirts with buttons and pockets everywhere - no thanks.More often than not though what makes a guy feel strong and sexy in his clothes is knowing that they fit well more so than the style or anything else.

I think there was a stereotype at one stage about the number of wife beating dumbarses that seemed to always be in them...but don't quote me on it....

Doesn't have to be a suit, smart casual is just fine, depending on the occasion of course. Dislike seeing blokes bums because their pants are falling down, fashionable or not, it's a bad look. I state in my profile I like a dress standard.

Radical chic...is only radical in Style;in its heart it is part of Society and its tradition.

I'm gonna say the wife beater is the good old white bonds singlet. The blue one is the Jackie Howe, named after the legendary shearer of the late 1800's. It's actually worth checking Wikipedia to see just what this guy could do in a day .... using hand shears!

GB - I also thought the dark blue singlet top was the 'shearers singlet' or 'tough man' singlet With what you described you wear do you smoke 'Winfield red' too! And the flannel? I like a guy to 'look nice' in whatever occasion. But above that - it doesn't matter what he is wearing - if he can treat me with respect, make me laugh, and enjoy being with me, then clothes are optional!

I think you may be on to something....but I did a search for "wife beater" and I came across a forum that was discussing it. Shinas, may be able to know who this man is, but I should've cut and pasted it, however, "wife beater" was used when a guy in the states, beat his wife to death, and was subsequently seen appearing in a sleeveless shirt, with what appeared to be baked bean stains on it??? I'll go back and look it up, and post the name of the man...

I got the following from a trivia website asking where the term "wife beater shirt" originated from :-"The trend changed in 1947 in Detroit, Michigan — when police arrested a local man (James Hartford, Jr.) for beating his wife to death. Local news stations aired the arrest and elements of the case for months after — constantly showing a picture of Hartford, Jr. when he was arrested — wearing a dirty tank top with baked bean stains on it…and constantly referring to him as “the” wife beater."

my style is simple....its jeans and nicely fit tees....i ride a bike so it kinda suits...and you can dress jeans n tees up or down by adding shirt, jacket, hoody, vest or even cardigan...and wearing shoes/runners rather than boots....collared button up shirts are for 'out' or work...and long sleeve tees are for the cooler months...oh, and i'm always shaven and suitably coiffed and smelling good...even just to watch the teev.......lol..... and boardies are for home or the beach...never for outings...and singlets are underwear. not sure if its 'sexy'....but i do know that i'm comfortable in whatever i wear...

But I actually hate the way I dress...... I don't have anyone who will say to me, hey mate that looks like crap, wear this and that. That's what I need lol

Love a nicely fitting pair of dark jeans on a guy with muscled, long legs - not skinnies or waistband hanging around the knees, but a little loose around the butt for comfort but fitted enough that you get a lovely view when the rear bends over :) Teamed with a dress-shirt or quality material t-shirt and dark blazer...we have a winner! Small spray of cologne and the outcome of the evening is sealed. And I'll admit that while I scoff at the guys at the gym who wear string singlets, I do secretly have a bit of a perve - it's unavoidable!
