Be cautious is the key tip. Sometimes take a leap of faith but also protect yourself.

You can 7se an anonymous message service, like Kik for example, but really, someone having your number isn't a drama. (You can always use a second sim) Also, anyone can be blocked if required

Always use a non-identifying app to chat and establish that connection or trust. There are a lot of unsavoury people out there that you don’t want knowing your personal details. Things like Kik can be a good tool for exactly that, but don’t use you real name in the profile title (yes I’ve seen it many times lol). I hate to say this as it shouldn’t even exist in society, but single women are definitely more vulnerable to creepy and stalkerish men. Couples and guys are less likely to be bothered, but it can still happen to them too.

Yes. You send them yours, they send you theirs. Unless the guy is married, then they don't send theirs. They instead just message you at 9am and say they are in your area, " How about l swing past your place?"

A lot of phones have dual sims. But there are also a few apps where you can remain anon.
