Shaving the goods

December 15 2011

Hey so I like to keep the jewels trimmed up for the wife, but I find that when I shave I quite often tend to get ingrown hairs which are a pain in the arse (or crotch) and look ugly.   Any of you out there with some helpful hints, creams etc to use when shaving the engine room to help?

So horrible, my hubby had the same problem. Waxing You not only get a cute girl to play with your bits and no ingrown hairs (at least not with my hubby) but it's soooooooooo lickable when it's done

I went to the Doctor with infected ingrown hairs. The doctor advised hair creams like veet are safer than shaving pubic areas..   Also consider...why are you messing with nature? Hair is meant to be there, just trim it shortish and nice.....same for the girls who wants to give a lady oral ....when its rough and pricklely....oral will be chore, no fun....out of there quick.

At the very beginning, the first week you shave it is itchy and uncomfortable, this is only going from non-shaved to shaved though. I've done it a few times in 3 decades lol! So in each experience when starting from scratch, the itchiness subsides i think in a week and it is never a bother as long as you shave regularly enough to keep smooth, i do it every shower roughly and then when i have a new blade, a triple or quad blade razor with the slippery gel pads, used only on wet wet foamed slippery area, it shaves perfectly smooth everytime, no drama.   The only times i have experienced issues, is when u try to do that quick dry shave thing, BAD move, shortcuts come with penalties. Then there is the cheap razor, blunt razor, or just in water job with no body wash/shaving cream. I find you need top quality conditions for a top quality result. Sharp and slippery razors, with a very foamy wet slippery area to shave from.   I never have issues as a result (learned the hard way of course!)   Next moves are lazor removal!

I would get ingrowns from wax, from shaving, no matter what i did. Anyways i just clipper now, saves all those hassles. Although as said, waxed is super smooth and very sensitive. It was an awesome feeling.

Has become a fav...it was apparently formulated for African American men to reduce razor burn associated with shaving...but can be used on any coarse hair (use a test patch first) It is a depilatory cream much like Veet but find this much more effective...buy it over the net...

Ive shaved used veet and now just last week I went and hot waxed professionally at a salon for men staffed by lovely young ladies in Perth. I'm know a convert to waxing hahaha. Really nice having a young hotty playing with ya bitz, the warmth of the wax being applied an the sweet pain of it being removed god I loved that part was even hard for most of it to. Gee is that wrong to love waxing so much after just one go??? Still smooth as after a week an a bit no soreness no ingrown hairs nothing but smooth as silk skin mmmmm.

Thats what I have been using for a few years now, I shaved a few times and had to go to the doctors because of the ingrown hairs but haven't had a problem since I moved on over to the hair removal creams.

Shaving can be a skill. Never use those 2, 3 or 4 blades down there and never use foam in a can. Use a DE Safety Razor or, better yet, a well maintained cut throat razor. Use a badger hair brush along with a good shaving soap, not the normal chemical filled body/hand soaps.Read some internet articles designed to help people discover the real art of shaving and most importantly... make sure you can do it well before taking it to your private areas.

I find paying attention to the area in the days afterwards with an exfoliating scrubberdoes the trick - or you can usually see hairs that might become ingrown, a gentle scratch with your nail and they get exposed.

is eay peasy...some can shave, some cant....i shave daily.... never an issue...and i'm naturally very hairy. use a decent, sharp multiple blade razor, use a quality gel , or use sorbolene, and dont rush. wash and soap first...it softens both the skin and the follicle. experiment with different blades/creams/gels whatever.... i cant use hair remover creams, as they tend to irritate me...mind you, so do normal shampoos and soaps lol.

Shels much the same too.... shaves rather than hair removes.... half the trick is using quality razors....not throw aways...make sure they are both sharp and clean, and use whatever gel/cream/oil etc to lubricate...after shave care is also important...soothe the skin with moisturisers etc.......keep it all clean and theres usually no issue........

Quoting 'D_G_T' that's my excuse for ermmmmm checking down there regularly too god, you're subtle about it - I'm _certain_ I'd remember you ermmmm 'checking' down there, even if it was just once... but regularly?! I guess that explains why my tea has tasted funny and I've woken up with a headache...(on topic: the tea tree oil spray or the witch hazel creams for waxing after-care are great whether you shave or wax - when I'm not feeling lazy)
