Shaving vs lasering

May 25 2019

It's the ultimate first world problem...how to deal with unwanted pubic hair. I've always been a 'shaver' but I'm a little bit tired of shaving rash (& the occasional cut) and am wondering whether lasering is a better option. I'm not too fussed about the idea that lasering is a permanent removal, but if I'm going to do it then I'm definitely interested in: a) What the process involves. I understand that multiple treatments are required but not sure how many or how often, and b) Which places in Melbourne are the best at providing that service. So I guess this is a call to all those who have been down the lasering path - is it worth it??

Thanks, Mr Luvsilver. Sounds like I need to find a good laser removal clinic. :)

For less than $700, got my own LPL. Time consuming but did my entire body. Saved several thousand. Just a few patches of grey that l need to shave. Occasional maintenance every 12 months. Do it before the greys take over

Laser is great. You can use an electrolysis session or two at the end to mop up any greys that survived the apocalypse

I have been lasered now for about 8 years. It took about 8 sessions (1 per month) to stop regrowth. My armpits took the longest whereas my pubes stopped after 5. I now only need a maintenance laser once a year for any weak strays that may appear. Pain wise it feels like an elastic band giving you little flicks. Hurt more though on lips and anus. John has had his chest and stomach done and the results have been great. Haven't found a laser place near the Sutherland Shire that will do men's brazillians so he/ I still shave that.Laser was the best money we have spent!Ann

...thanks Ann. I've looked up a laser place near where I work and they do guys brazillians, so I think I'll go there.
