  They're plugs but they start small and slim the size of a finger and get longer and wider, that's how I started training a male friend. Also try experimenting with a few small insertables of differing types because you may like texture or you may like something that curves up to hit your prostate more directly or you might enjoy width or just something long and smooth, or maybe vibration, you never know til you try.   I have found that a quick warm up with fingers and lube (maybe 2-3 minutes) and i can start easing in a full good sized dildo.
