Should public nudity of a non sexual manner be made legal in Queensland?

Hi all,I'm sure that some of you have heard of the annual event World Naked Bike Ride that's been held in Brisbane since 2007. It is a clothing optional demonstration against the use of fossil fuels and Climate Change.My question is: how many of you think that public nudity should be legalised on an everyday basis in Queensland (not just for events like the WNBR and Spencer Tunick photo shoots), like it is in San Francisco, Cap d'Agde in France and some towns in Spain? We have the perfect weather for public nudity here most of the time, so why doesn't the State allow it? It does not harm, maim, kill or injure anybody.I support the right to have beaches made clothing optional as I think this will help increase tourism immensely, and I think if people got desensitised to nudity a lot more they wouldn't feel so hung up about themselves and their bodies and thus will become more confident in many aspects (especially the women).With that said, I do not endorse or approve of outdoor public sex or dogging. What consenting adults do in places like strip clubs, the privacy of their own homes or swing clubs is fine. I am not a parent, but if I was I wouldn't want my children to think that it's okay to just bonk whoever you want in public - as they say "monkey see, monkey do". I also think that we need to be showing more respect and encouragement for women to take part in nude and clothing optional activities in Australia. The nudist scene here seems to disproportionately consist of middle-aged men and not enough women and younger people - this is not the case over in Europe and the UK where attitudes to the human body and sexuality are more healthier and liberal. Maybe it's time that we took a leaf out of their book and applied it to our culture?Would like to know what others in this community reckon. :)
