He falls off things all the time, misjudges jumps, then pretends he meant to do it - it's priceless! Aren't cats meant to be super coordinated? He missed that gene!

My cockatiel is obsessed with feet... doesn't matter if its bare feet, feet in socks or feet in shoes. I can literally see his little bird face light up when I put my feet near him. He sidles over and cuddles up to a foot, and whistles and preens and carries on like a pork chop. Basically, he's in ecstasy. Cracks me up every time :) I have no idea where the obsession stems from, because he's a rescue bird that flew into my yard about 10 years ago. I was never able to track his owners down, which is a real pity, because he was very tame, talked 19 to the dozen and was obviously well looked after. There's a family out there who probably still misses him :/ Much love, Elle

I love eaves dropping on kids chatting and having conversation about stuff. Some of it is priceless honesty but when they just make shit up on the go it's just hilarious !

I can watch them for ages.....there are a few trees but they like sitting on my clothes drier. There was one sitting there yesterday in the pouring rain having a "bird shower", stretching out his wings and fluffing himself up. And I cant pass a garden exploding with all the different colours of beautiful flowers without smiling. Mother Nature certainly knew how to make us happy.

As a bird lover yes they do it for me. They say you can scare galahs from your trees by hanging a dead one from them but at a cemetery I watched a galah hanging from a dead one having a wow of a time, they don't call them galahs for nothing. But what brings the silly grin to my face is what I observed on the train to Melb. today. Kids at the window making commentary on what is passing. The best thing unlike adults is all four of them were complete strangers but 10 minutes in they were mates. What be wrong with adults hey.

The kids and the way they point the finger when something gets broken lol.. Just yesterday I had around 9 kids in front yard and my youngest came to me and said dad the spring fell off the tramp? So I lined me all up and listened to the reason they wernt involved lol bloody hard keeping a straight face :))

Had a little chuckle and thought to myself, dogs are so stupid and easily amused. Then I realised I had just spent 10min watching a dog chase his tail.

My jack Russell had such a wonderful personality. Full of fun. One day walking along the beach I found a broken section of foam surfboard. For a laugh I put her on it to see if she could balance and ride the ripples into shore. She was a natural surfie. From then on every beach visit I would take along her surfboard and everyone on the beach would be smiling at her antics. As soon as she rode the wave/ripples to shore she'd bounce around waiting to be taken out to deeper water so she could do it all over again, and again, and again! Who needs a ball when you can have a board .... lol RIP Tessie (I miss you) LG

Without a doubt, can make me smile....My children are all so different, but they shine brighter with their personalities and how funny they all are, pretty sure they get these traits off their awesome mother.....๐ Something else that puts that silly grin on my face, that text you get from someone special. You know you're grinning at your phone like a dickhead, but you just can't help it......๐

I have a crimson macaw, this bird starts ringing like my phone, he then answers his own call with a hi in my tone of voice. After the hi, he mutters the faint sounds of someone else on the other end of the call. He slips in a few yeses between the muttering then again in my tone says, ok bye. On a good night he might ring himself 20 times. At least I'm not getting charged for the calls :).... Tip

I went to Winton Raceway last W/end, my boy has spent quite a deal of money & time building up a "skids" car, he invited me to go on Sunday & camp the nite. I got there on Sunday, it had been a disaster, a new radiator, fuel pump & other parts, he'd done a total of 6 laps in 2 days & not even "popped" a tyre, by 5.30pm he was in tears & wanting to go home to Melb, his mates & I had all mucked in, just prior to the pits closing at 6.30pm, they found a blown fuse. He went for a "quick run" behind the pits & nearly hit a fence, as he wasn't used to the power, the car was goin' right again. We then went to the camp grounds, ate, drank & I just chatted to all the young kids, they accepted me coz of my son. What a great nite. Only 1 run was left on Sunday, he popped 2 tyres & came in for service, went out & popped 1 more, the smile on his face @ the end of the session was priceless. We all had a great time in a controlled enviroment, the kids "blew off some steam" & went home Monday arvo happy. I'm so happy for my boy, he did what he set out to achieve, we'll both be goin' back for more. Cheers P.L.

My old dog is hilarious, sometimes she sleeps on her back paws waving in the air...a bull terroir cross she is not a pretty dog and profoundly deaf ...Birds..the parrots in the flowering gum just outside my front door gossip and swing from the fragile small branches, performing somersaults and scattering pink blossoms all over the path ...Children...I work with older kids,12 -16,they completely crack me up sometimes...one boy told me he had 7 siblings, the youngest being just a few months old,I exclaimed that his mum must be such a busy woman.....,oh no miss, dad just has lots of girl friends ,he said with a wry smile ๐...and what makes me smile, laugh even ,is if I can make someone else smile xxFreya

I have seven. One male is so in love with his girl and feeds ("babybirds") her every day. I've never seen this anywhere else and it always makes me laugh as he makes a loud "heeheeheehee" noise while he does it.

Such beautiful birds that make wonderful and affectionate friends. I have known several people over the years that have these birds and they quickly become favourites. I would like to find a reputable breeder and be there for a hatching to form that uncanny bond that birds develop with their first encounter.

When I was a child I had a pair of budgies .The male budgie,Billy Boy would do exactly that Meander..I was told that he was practicing to feed their babies when they hatched ..or maybe he was just a kinky bird ๐xxFreya

I too had budgies when young Freya. One weekend I found the most stunning male. So bought him in the hope to breed. Well that was a huge mistake as he only seemed to like the males (quite strange). Still he was so beautiful. I wonder if anyone else has come across this at all.

They will be at each other's throats most of the time but when crossing the road, my older boys (usually my second boy) will always hold their younger sister's hand across. So adorable! - Posted from rhpmobile
