Snapchat filters

December 01 2020

Are they really necessary and do you think they look good and enhance your profile? For me personally if you have snapchat filters on your pics I move on. I dont think they look good on anyone...🤷

To each their own. Some people use them to hide identifying features, and some people use them to convey a sense of fun and personality. At the end of the day I don't think anyone is going to be losing sleep over you 'moving on' 🤷‍♂️

Each to their own on how people put their profiles together. But I could not agree more with this comment. Personally I detest them especially when it has bunny ears or feline features and every wrinkle smoothed out. Maybe it’s my age as well. But, like you, I too move onto the next profile.

They are ok for a bit of fun. Ive taken a few of me in various Snapchat guises, ( one as a puffer fish!) and sent them to friends just for a laugh. However, if you have photos on a dating site they should be of you and not some cartoonish looking person. I have seen profiles with some Snapchat pics but also some real ones, which is fine. If you are planning to meet people, show the real you. Strangely enough, I havent come across any male profiles with Snapchat filter pics.

I see them on tinder moreso than on here. They are almost always a move on, unless it's just one or two and you can tell it's just for a laugh, and not to cover up every wrinkle and blemish. I'd much rather see the real person up front.

Profile pics with Snapchat filters... My thought is, if they go missing how can anyone find them. Those bunny ones would confuse the sniffer dogs. Ms Foxy

It’s not just the ridiculous ones like the bunny ears, a lot of women on here use really obvious filters to smooth out wrinkles and imperfections which is quite deceptive tbh

I have seen cock pics with filters... Believe you me, a cock with angel wings and a halo, is a frightening sight! 😄 Ms Foxy

I have no clue how to use filters. What you see is what you get with me :-)

Yeah I skip a profile with any instagram filters. I instantly get the impression of immaturity.

I think it definitely depends on the filter some of them completely change your face into something unrecognisable and ultimately make you look unnatural and slightly off but there a certain ones that just add freckles or a colour effect or a little decal and at that point they’re really not that different to how you look. Personally I wouldn’t recommend all your photos having filters but if you have a few I don’t see the harm. Whatever people wanna post on their page is their business. Also let’s not forget there are many other ways of altering and editing photos that aren’t filters.

Hate them personally they shouldn't be used it's hard enough navigating through the hundreds of emails then getting to meet the person who's not the same person depicted in the pic .. classic was a guy filtered his skin to pale white turned up he was of Indian decent like seriously dude own your ethenticity its not like you can change it.. Met a couple the female and guy filtered their weight they turned up 30 kilos overweight and definitely no six pack to be seen anywhere

No. I like the Real McCoy. Always have, always will. If you can't be authentic with the way you look naturally to others online, then how can you be expected to have a good healthy long-term romantic/sexual relationship?
