So... How Saucy Is Sydney?

December 04 2009

Hi All, We are new to Sydney having recently stepped off the boat (so to speak) and plan to be in town for a while, as such, we are interested to know what "Swinging in Sydney" is like. We are a young married couple, intelligent and educated, well travelled and we like to think we are a lot of fun... we laugh a lot anyhow - at each other an awful lot of the time. We are living close to the centre of Sydney, and have spent recent times getting to know the city, by walking about, reading guides, talking to people. It seems like a simmering hotpot to be honest? Is this an accurate perception? We have played before - many times actually, normally with single girls (yes - the holy grail) - more by luck than planning - as we have met some very lovely and liberal friends in the last 4 years that we have been together. We have played with a few couples - normally soft swap, but they aren't necessarily our preference. This could very much be down to us only really meeting older couples in the places that we have frequented, rather than us not liking couples... We have been to some crazy hedonistic club nights, some great young swingers parties, some dodgy backstreet wet clubs, some verging on fetish clubs in the suburbs of Berlin. We have poured champagne off some beatiful bodies and we want more... in Sydney this time - and it is completely alien to us. But where do you look for it and what can you find in Sydney... As the parts of town that we have walked around seem to cater for the G/L/B/TV communities, I think that we just need to open our eyes a little more to see the bit that we are interested in? Any tips? Places to head in the direction of? Are single girls more liberal than other parts of the world? Is swinging socially more socially acceptable as Sydney thus far seems very liberal (minded rather than political) What are we looking for? Erotic encounters with like-minded people - be that drinks and flirting at a Burlesque club, or anything that might sound fun. I did think about the beaches - but its not something that we have done before, and am not too keen after hearing the comments on the beach play thread on here. We look forward to hearing about the underground life! Absolutemmm
