Is my lover and my best friend. Go Figure , we always stayed friends we now live together after being divorced for ten years I kinda think if you were with a person for a long time and if you keep it civil then you can stay friends especialy if you have kids Though I have seen how ugly it gets for other couples, so glad I never had that shit in my life love my x, what a guy

I helped him pick out furniture for his new place and we still joke and give each other heaps. He pisses me off occasionally but he did that even before we were married. I wouldn't fuck him now but we still had great sex in the last year when we weren't in love but were still not ready to end it. He would've been happy to be fuck buddies after but I wanted to explore new things. It took a lot of effort and held tongues to keep things from getting out of control when it ended but I'm glad he was as willing to keep things amicable as I was, I know many people don't get that kind of cooperation from their exes so feel really blessed not to have had a hateful or difficult breakup.

......and I admire them for that, however, my ex husband is my EX husband for a reason and the only reason we are still civil to each other is for the sake of our children. What's made me smile in this site is getting to know people through forums and meeting three people from this site. All three meetings were good experiences, with one being a little (ok.....maybe a lot) more special than the other two.

As Araps said, each to their own, no way I would go there now. I do try and keep things civil but it's hard enough to do that let alone complicate it more. Things that make me smile from Rhpland: pretty much every person I've met has been fantastic, especially a certain someone yesterday/last night.. Canna wipe the grin off my face ;)

A friend told me of someone she knew that thought LOL meant (Lots Of Love). Not too bad till she told me that when his grandmother died he headed all his written condolence messages with family and friends, with LOL.Oh sad but most definite LOL moment for me.

It would depend on the relationship you had with your ex, but why not swing with the ex if the sex is good and you are comfortable with each other. It does not mean you cannot be FWB's.

Some people just fall out of love and don't want to be married anymore, but can still carry on a friendship with no real hiccoughs. Some people unwittingly turn all of their loving passion into passionate hate for each other, depends on the people really. In terms of what makes me smile when cruising RHP land, I always have a giggle at the profiles telling Sydney University to go get stuffed. That's like the viral legalese status on Facebook about privacy that was going around a few months back. The only binding agreement that's worth a damn on any site is the TOS that YOU agree to when SIGNING UP for the site! Any other disclaimers on profiles is NOT ever going to protect you from ANY use of your profile that does not contravene the TOS that you had to agree to in order to set up a profile on this site. I LOL every time I read one of those stupid statements!

At risk of merging this with other threads....I can't help but giggle about 'Professional and Intelligent' (and the umpteen different misspellings), thinking of all the stupid, stupid things I've done while wearing a suit and tie and conducting "professional" activities.Or it makes me think of Real Estate agents (no offence to any reading!!).
