So most of RHP'ers don't give a toss...as the red head with the nice legs said...Please Explain

March 10 2014

I viewed the recent poll results and about 70% of us don't give a toss about machines...I'm in 6% who like motorcycles.I notice that some like super cars and some like muscle cars...I have a fair idea what a muscle car is but I don't know the difference between those two types.

One horse power is all I need. Although, six in hand is pretty cool.

Is the difference to do with size of the engines or is it the way they are "hotted" up (as in mags, paint job, boom boom box, interior etc etc as in pimp my ride, babe?? I prefer a Fred flint stone car myself, good exercise. 😉 Foxy

..is that a Supercar is something like a modern Lamborghini, Ferrari or Bugatti. Whilst a Muscle car is more like a Mustang, Corvette or HSV Holden. A "Peoples" Supercar. Apart from the obvious differences in styling and performance they're hundreds of thousands of dollars apart, I think. Personally, I don't relate to the wheeled tin-tops…I like to feel the wind in my hair. Despite that I don't have much hair. And I wear a helmet.. Sighhhhhhhh…..

Wikipedia: According to Muscle Cars, a book written by Peter Henshaw, a "muscle car" is exactly what the name implies. It is a product of the American car industry adhering to the hot philosophy of taking a small car and putting a large-displacement engine in it. Henshaw further asserts that the muscle car was designed for straight-line speed, and did not have the "sophisticated chassis", "engineering integrity", or "lithe appearance" of European high-performance cars. Well known muscle cars include the Camaro / Chevelle, Charger, GTO, Gran Sport, and Mustang. I'd love to get my hands on a 1970 mach1 Mustang...

Poor car recognition..... I have never owned a car, have never driven a car.....I used to recognise colours but the other day I thought I was hopping into a friends car only to find a strange and startled man on the seat next to me:-) xxQ

Whilst I know the difference between muscle cars and super cars, I'll stick with Harley Davidsons and four wheel drives.

I have never looked at the poll side of this site. Does poll tells what percent of RHP members took part? let us say if a place has a million member and about 100 take part in poll...how much sense will you like to make out it...not much for me.

I don't like machines. I don't like motorcycles per say ... but I really love my Trumpy. Someone else can get their hands dirty changing the oils and whatever it is that they do to charge me so much money... I just love to ride. Ride like the wind.... with my hair swishing out the back of my helmet. You can take away my license, but you will never take my FREEDOM! HugsGazpacho
