Watching this one with interest For me with furniture being expensive I like get things with some good quality for my kinks (and hey what decent hobby isn't worth investing some money for some quality items .... lol). I would would look at what are your favorite BDSM activities and then try to narrow it down to what are your favorite positions or props. Eg if being cropped while on all fours makes you twinge and weak at knees above all other things then I would look at something that would put me into that position to enhance that activity. You could also go the other way and making and argument of getting things that have some flexibility and options with what you could do with them. Good luck DMR and hopping on the couch to hear what others have to say.

Kids these days. When I were young, we saved our pounds to buy a new house. Didn't waste it new fangled bondage furniture. Back in the day a pair of milk crates and some old linoleum was considered luxury...

I went to a kink market organised through our local BDSM community. They had beautifully crafted furniture and custom made things too. So maybe hit up some of the fetife groups and find your local kinky crafters. You can always hire a dungeon and see what you enjoy.

Your going to blow (pardon the pun) your tax return on paraphernalia for a sex dungeon when your so young?? I'm going to sound so like my parents here and I just hate that but be sensible girlfriend!!! You've been handed a bonus for all your efforts over the past year so use it wisely. Previous posters have made suggestions also which I think you rally need to consider. Travel or invest. Gosh if I were 23 years old again I would definitely not have been wasting my tax cheque (if I was lucky enough to get a rebate then) on sex dungeon equipment with a "boyfriend"...... Katy is right, what about when you bust up in 6 months time, who keeps the stuff? Lol

FFS, Whats with all the Nanna'ing and kink shaming ....... She asked a specific question on what "she" wants to spend the money on not what everyone else would or thinks she "should" spend it on. 23 & 24 is old enough to know what they want, she asked for advice not judgement! I remember blowing my tax cheque on a leather jacket for my hubbies 21st birthday, he still wears it and oh and look at that, we are still together!!

What about one of those colonial french chairs....can pick them up in 2nd hand store or antique shop. Get it recovered in red velvet..be HOT! If you get one with the open arms, can hand cuff and blind fold partner to chair. I just typed into google..Dungeon furniture Australia "and up popped "Foxy's Furniture" (custom built BDSM furniture). They have a St.Andrew's Cross that turns into a Plant stand and all sorts of items. The items are very cleverly designed. The name says it all! Foxy
