Strip Clubs? Best in Sydney?

During a recent interstate trip we ended up taking our rather hardcore booze fuelled party to a strip club to chill out and start to unwind, and I must say I found it to be quite a good novelty.So planning on going along to another one now I'm back and keen to know what people would recommend for a vaguely down to Earth place that don't charge like a wounded (Peppermint) Rhino.I went to Pure Platinum in Syd a while back, and that was ok, but wouldn't mind someowhere else - preferrably NOT the Cross.The Oxford at Petersham is great value, but tame.And a place where ladies are welcome is ideal!Tips?

Is Minx and Platinum both owned by the same peeps ? Annnnnywho ! I have never been to either but have heard they are great pleaseplease please keep the research up and let us know ! Brae

Minx and Pure Plat are unrelated (apparently)Pure Plat own Dancers, and Mens Gallery.I think we should be heading out this Friday (if the stars align right) so might aim for Minx as one of the locales. Planning on having a pretty saucy night out with 'rampant hedonism' as the destination.Brae, not sure where you are in Syd, but I rate the Oxford for a reasonable set of shows with some ok chicks... free to get in and the beers are pub price.Thanks chaps.

I've only ever been to one strip joint. Honest. A few years back now I had dinner in a strip joint somewhere down near King and Kent Street. The table service was sensational and the nice russian blonde ladies where particularly friendly... well... one of them was for sure. Mind you when I told her I was married she seemsed to lose concentration for a while there. One of the guys I was with effectively took a stripper home with him.. he got her phone number.... I have no idea how he managed that! Some guys have all the moves down pat.... combined with luck.. being the right place (i.e on his lap) at the right time (i.e. when she felt horny enough to think wtf)... Hugs Stalky

in Sydney is Gurlesque! Unfortunately you straight bio blokes don't get to go cos it's a lesbian strip joint! Loads of fun and provocative shows with an often political bent and performers of all different shapes and sizes and ages.I'm laughing at the Oxford comments. I live just down the road and haven't been there for the strip shows - what have I been missing out on? Have been there for the cheap beer when other locals have closed for the night.
