So i have a weird goatee. Its a really thin spike around 4-5 inches long. Mostly i get random guys coming up to me and telling me they dig it. Rarely, rarely, do i have a woman l comment positively on it. Truth be told, i think i only keep it to impress other guys. I think most women don't like it... My sister doesn't although she's given up on commenting. So...Do you have anything you do specifically to impress your same sex peers and strangers that may actually be a detriment when dealing with the opposite sex but you keep doing it anyway.

I don't think I've ever seen this topic before. To answer your question, I don't think I do really. The only thing I can think of is that I dress less feminine at work than I would normally, to fit in with my colleagues. (We're all non-uniform-wearing nurses who dress for comfort.) Not sure that is to my detriment when it comes to the opposite sex though, I'd like to think it doesn't really make a difference. (I've got a friend though whose boyfriend hates her fake tan with a passion!)

I like to torment guys, I wear pink socks, or red on the left and green on the right, or stripey girls socks, some guys get really pissy about it, Hilarious ! Oh and I have a man bag, old beat up leather back pack, guys take the piss but women fawn over it which gets up there nose even more. I guess 15-20 years ago the bald head was admired by guys and intimidated women but that has long passed. Bye the way, they may not like it but secretly they admire your individuality in the face of mediocrity.

I wear the same outfit every day of the year, (minus the jacket when it gets too warm). Blue/Black Leather Jacket, Black/Grey Converse Shoes, Black/Blue Jeans, White/Grey Shirt, Black/Grey Scarf.

Well, now that you mention it; I'm rather popular with the local cat lady's. Though the local fruiterer always gives me a soft smile and doesn't charge me for only half my cucumbers and eggplants. *ponders* Birdy.xo
