Suggest a daily use vaginal moisturizer

April 02 2017

A friend looking for daily use vaginal moisturizer. Something safe for daily use, long lasting, preferably glycerin, silicone, parabens, propylene glycol, free and STILL WORKS. All I can find is sliquid satin and ALOE CADABRA. Can you suggest something..Thanks

Take a look at Multi-Gyn Actigel and Liquigel. Many gynaecologists are now recommending this range. Their FloraPlus is a great way to restore and keep a healthy vaginal balance - Posted from rhpmobile

Some women suffer from dryness of the vagina, often due to menopause, and or other physiological reasons - could be an imbalance , hormonal etc. Mr D had a girlfriend many years ago (she was 22) and did suffer from dryness and he got a product called Replens for her, which he says seemed to work well. Dryness can lead to discomfort & irritation - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'boobs_or_bust'But to achieve what ,anything in particular ,not being a smarty ,just curious We are all just trying to get rid of the wrinkles thats all But seriously the VJJ can be a fickle creature and at times due to menstrual cycle or menopause, hormones, too much sex, taking antibiotics etc extra help may be needed. OP in girly conversation heard that Replens can be good. Don't know if its free of all those things though.

Thanks for all suggestions. liquigel has good reviews bit expensive and has glycerin but worth trying. It will be always hard to find something that works and free of those ingredients. Replens and many others are effective but most have glycerin and some get sticky. Has anyone tried astroglide natural?

I have found pawpaw cream helpful after I shave. - Posted from rhpmobile

Are you asking for a moisturiser or a lubricant ? If the latter, try cold pressed extra virgin organic coconut oil - Posted from rhpmobile

...however I might suggest an application at least twice a day. Periodically it should also be taken orally...mind, that is for medicinal purposes albeit may just stop you from getting your next cold and is far less painful than a flu shot! Or not.....

Intravaginal not topical. Yes for dryness of vaginal walls. Thanks again for all suggestions.

Evening primrose oil. When digested it increases natural lubricant very quickly. Also coconut oil or shea butter but neither of those are safe with condoms or some toys xox - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'Ms_Dragon'Be aware though....coconut oil contains chemicals what you did there Quoting 'DynamicCouple36' Pure organic coconut oil contains chemicals ? Myristic and Caprylic acid amongst others, pretty much guaranteed it contains a few others used in industrial processes. Preservatives - it can last something like 6 months at room temperature without going bad, that's McDonald's burger territory. Where are you getting your coconut oil that has no chemicals? Sounds like Emperor's New Clothes

We did not say that organic coconut oil does not contain chemicals & preservatives. We simply asked if it does contain the above. We buy cold pressed, organic, unrefined from the health shop, primarily to cook with and make turmeric based "Golden Milk" from. The website / attached link appears to confirm there are no additives / chemicals / preservatives. - Posted from rhpmobile

The question was about added, man made chemicals & preservatives (added as part of the manufacturing / refining process ). Myristic & Caprylic Acid, are both naturally occurring fatty acids, and highly beneficial to human health. They have not been added to the pure, unrefined coconut oil, but rather occur naturally in it, based on what we have read. - Posted from rhpmobile

Yep, certainly does. Those scheming, evil chemicals are absolutely everywhere. You can run but you can't hide.

The one we use, for cooking, is 100% coconut oil. No additives or preservatives, according to the label. The OP wanted chemical free, and we assume they meant added chemicals etc - Posted from rhpmobile

So now, a bit of back-tracking to the 'natural chemicals are good and man-made ones are the devil's work' argument. In that case, may I suggest rubbing your vagina with a solution of botulinum and tetanospasmin. I'm sure it'll work wonders, and they are completely natural chemicals. (for anyone else, I'd recommend reading up on why the 'natural is good synthetic is bad' belief is a load of crapola. Internet article 'natural vs synthetic chemicals is a gray matter' in Scientific American is a good place to start). Yes, I'm leaving now, don't worry I'll show myself out
