  Submission in the bedroom does not mean you are submissive in day to day life, in fact my understanding is that it is quite the opposite.I personally am a rather assertive and confident person in my job and day to day life but i am finding more and more that in the bedroom i prefer the man to be in charge.I think you will find a lot of women who are submissive in nature sexually and probably just as many men, either way i don't see it as a reflection of personality or weakness, you should be able to find what you are looking for here anyway, seems there is something/someone for everyone Mrs

  Surrender is totally different from submission unless you are dominating the play. And there are many self assured, confident women with strong personalities that like to submit to a male in the bedroom and vice versa.Surrendering or submitting does not diminish you as a person.

  If we didnt we would not find it easy to acheive orgasm at all. Mistress T is right on the money here. They are two different things. I am about as stubborn, hard headed and opinionated as they come but hey, I surrender to the moment without any problems at all. I am not sub.

  Agree with the general consesus here; if I surrender totally in the bedroom, it doesn't make me a subordinate. Surrendering in the bedroom - for me - requires trust in that partner and feeling totally accepted and free to be me - a great, liberating feeling. Being dominated outside of the bedroom just makes me feel bullied, taking away my freedom and choices - not a great feeling.

  Most of my clients and many men who are BDSM submissives usually have high powered careers or are in positions of great responsibility. They spend a lot of time making decisions that either affect a lot of people or involve a lot of money. When these guys walk through my door they can stop being responsible and they don't have to think about anything. They can switch off and leave the world behind because someone else is making the decisions and telling them what to do. For them it is a wonderful form of stress relief and an escape from the world. Sometimes my work is not about pain and humiliation.

  Great responses, thank you.   Miss T I think you have jumped into a role reversal here. Obviously not subordinate but can you do surrender? MzAdvent thinks it is about trust. How well do the high-powered guys feel that it's about trusting you?

  All people are equal when they are horizontal. No one should dominate the other in sex unless it is mutually agreed.I am a professional bondage Mistress and I am paid to be dominant. Domination is more mental than physical but it requires the right balance of both to be successful.Trust is always an issue when you don't know who you are dealing with. I start by talking to potential clients about what they like and how they like it. I then give them an outline of what will happen during their session and if they like it I book them in. In some cases I insist on meeting a client before they book in for a session. If they don't trust me then they don't turn up and so far I haven't had any no-shows.
