  There is a GiRLTHING event in Erskineville on the 8th, if that is the weekend you mean. Should be able to find it and tickets through facebook. Also check out Snatch and Grab, also on FB for other events.

  Thanks for your suggestions Pepper. I was really hoping there is just a mid-week, casual bar in the city that is known to be visited by predominantly lesbian and bi chicks? The thing is, that despite being very definitely bisexual in a swinging environment and with a couple of FWB's I'm lucky enough to spend time with, I've never plucked up the courage to put myself out there and actually approach a girl in a public-social environment... I really want to do this and think it will be a lot easier if I at least know that there is a good chance the girls I am chatting with are similar to me! I'm actually surprised that there haven't been more replies to this topic... I thought Sydney was a bit more open to the gay scene than most cities??

  Well you can try the Bank Hotel on a Wednesday, the Sly Fox, The Newtown Hotel on a Sunday and the Imperial Hotel in Erskineville. But they're all Inner West. Maybe look at the Beresford in Surry Hills and visit places on Oxford Street (Slide, Midnight Shift, Exchange). But I'm not sure which nights would be more for lesbians rather than LGBTI generally. Green Park in darlinghurst. Err. I'm out of suggestions.
