We were wanting to know the same, we will also be down in Sydney in September and wondering which club we should go on a Saturday night.? Clubs are certainly a lot more expensive in Sydney than Brisbane.

I think you should stay around Darling Harbour for most of the restaurants and bars. But Sydney CBD is small so doesn't really matter where you stay. Things are always close by. As for clubs the discussion about the differences between the two have been discussed ad nauseam in the Couples section. My advice is go to which ever is having a theme night on the night you intend to go. Otherwise OSS is the nicer looking club... As for people that go. I don't know.

Hi we were in Sydney a few weeks ago. We stayed in a central hotel in CBD. As above posters mentioned, the CBD is pretty compact so anywhere central should be OK. We decided to try Couples Club, which we regretted. If you are a smoker it may be OK for you, but for us as non smokers it was a nightmare. Everyone smokes inside (including staff) so the air gets very thick with smoke. For us it was too much to handle so we spent most of the night outside which meant we weren't really meeting many people. Downstairs in the play area it reeks of mould and mildew as they have no extractor fan running for the hot tub. The walls are dripping with condensation and the whole place reeks. My partner and I could not imagine even having sex with each other in this environment, let alone playing with others. So for air quality, you get two options, smoke or mould! If you don't have olfactory nerves Couples Club may be for you, but we would never go back there!!! It was a bummer as we met a really cool attractive couple there who we were both interested in, but the smell in the venue really got in the way of our mojo and put us off. We are going back to Sydney in a couple of months and will try out OSS.

Thanks Meeka, will look around that area. Fraser suites looks nice and near there. As you say, everything looks pretty close by.

If you are in Sydney on 4th Sept go to COuples Club for Angel & Demon night. It's a great night. Don't worry having 100 people all naked and bonking all you smell I am sure is semem not mildew. Just avoid all the wet patches... Bloody squirting women! Lol. But everyone dresses up in their sexy lingerie & fetish outfits. People make a real effort which makes it extra fun.

You both make very compelling cases. Yes we don't smoke and are put off by the smell however the thought of 100 naked bonking people can't be all bad can it? :-) Hmmmmmm what to do. Actually come to think of it we are busy on the sat night already. Was thinking more the Thursday but get the feeling that could be a bit did.

As mentioned earlier this is a hot topic We have a membership for OSS now as we much prefer it, we have been to CC twice and both times it was a let down - sure you might get higher numbers on some nights however for us it's quality over quantity We found the crowd and facilities are OSS to be younger and more attractive, not to mention the lack of smoke filled areas - much more sexy We have had many fun nights at OSS however in Sydney turn out does depend on what's going on for the night. If I were you I would try to get some RHP dates as well and then maybe OSS as a back up - at the end of the day if you two enjoy each others company in a sexy environment then you will have fun no matter what In terms of hotels I would recommend to stay up the other end of Hyde Park way towards Kings Cross / Darlinghurst - everything is fairly close and you will be near the action no matter what but at least this is walking distance to some very trendy rooftop and underground bars and restaurants. Have fun in Sydney, we sure do :)

Think you're on to something. Think we'll use OSS as a back up. Not liking the sound of the smokey areas at CC. Looks like they have the Spring event on the Sat also so that could be a go-er with some old friends we are meeting that night. BTW your pics are very sexy!!

I've booked a room at the IBIS Motel (straight opposite the Sydney Meet and Greet Venue on Harbourside on 29th Aug). It was $278 for the night (but $100 will do). I have no intentions or ulterior motives, other than having somewhere to walk to and crash after all the fun, and obviously to cut the cost a bit). You will be absolutely safe. There are a number of people on this site who have met me and will know me on the night (having been to last year's gig at the Watershed). I'm quite trustworthy... If there is anyone who would like to share the room, please send me a private message. Although I have no ulterior motives, I prefer to share with a lady, as I'm not all that comfortable with men I don't know. Thanks Very Much Ladies...Muso

The room has a Queen bed, BUT, I can change to 2 single beds, I've just found. If that makes things more comfortable.

We decided to go to OSS after seeing your comment as my partner is incredibly sensitive to smoke.

Hey Whisper. We did go back to Sydney for a family event but weren't able to get a night away to ourselves to check out OSS, unfortunately! We are keen to go next time we are in Sydney though.
