Sydney’s Helfire .. an end of an era

October 23 2019

I’m interested to hear some thoughts here, if you are familiar with ‘The Sydney’s Hellfire Nightclub’ you would be aware that as of Dec 2019 it will no longer be having its monthly meet. It’s very sad times as they have been operating for over 26 years. Only three more meets till the finish. As a solo single female I have never felt uncomfortable but always reminded to communicate to staff if people aren’t respectful or not following the rules. I have to say that I instantly felt comfortable and confident. To not be judged these days is truly a real and refreshing experience. There are people of all sizes, shapes, ages and backgrounds. The performances and acts on stage are always good fun Everyone seems to be relaxed and respecful. My question is, where is everyone going to meet for future like minded events????? Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated, thankyou! -lost solo female - Posted from rhpmobile

We would also like to know on where and if there are similar places. We have only just started going to hellfire and would really like to keep enjoying this scene/atmosphere. Also lost 😪

We have an amazing venue and pride ourselves on throwing the sexiest, kinkiest and best fun events in town.9 rooms plus the main area all styled out in sophisticated decor and each party is themed to add to the atmosphere of the night. We are BYO venue and have a DJ all night to keep the dance floor full. The crew at Club fusion Sydney will look after you and make sure you have an experience you won't soon forget. Our next huge kink night is our Halloween party, DARQ Gathering, on the 2nd of November. Check out the events section on RHP or our new website

Melbourne's Hellfire club finished some years ago. We now get a yearly trip down memory lane with Resurrection, but without the personal extremes remembered from the original which ran from the early nineties. But in its place there are a selection of clubs catering for us kinksters. No doubt there will be a few around Sydney to take up the slack. Fetlife will be your friend

Tom/Craig mentioned on FB that they'd warned previously that they would stop if they had to leave another venue, because they just were tired of having to find new venues to accomodate them. They're leaving Universal just because the venue couldn't accomodate their event anymore, I don't think there was any bad-blood. I think they both have pretty busy day jobs anyway. Eg. Craig/Tom oversees the Powerhouse Arts Centre in Casula.

That’s correct Peggy the venue cannot cater to a smaller gathering/crowd but has allowed them to finish out the year. No bad blood, they won’t move it to another venue, just the end a great night out

Yes - what Peggy said. It’s considered a ‘small’ club night which makes it harder to find a venue and turn a profit. It was just time to give Craig and Jackie a well-earned rest! Look up Threshold... and you can do fun bondage workshops etc with Studio Kink.
