We were living in our shed while our house was being built. We were both up at 2 am bottle feeding our newly arrived twin boys when this insanely dark, quirky yet funny first episode came on- we loved it and were hooked from then on.Luvsilvers

Dr Who, from sink plunger and whisk armed Daleks to the modern computer graphics I'm totally hooked. And the story just gets more convoluted and intriguing as the timelines weave around each other. And we could do a whole thread on companions and villains!

The IT Crowd had me roflmao 😂 If you haven't seen it, in my best Molly Meldrum voice, do yourself a favour 😉 but start at episode 1, from the beginning, those first couple of episodes are classic. Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Limiting it to shows that they're still doing seasons - Stranger Things - as a child of the 80's this show (Netflix) was my favourite of 2016 Daredevil (Netflix again) Game of Thrones (a long time GRRM fan so was stoked to see it make it to the screen) Lucifer Orphan Black

So, somewhat in order and split up into categories because I do watch a lot of Reality TV and that doesn't appeal to everyone, but anything under "current" I'd _highly_ recommend. Current: Humans The White Princess Versailles (Athelstan from Vikings plays Louis XIV) * Turn: Washington's Spies Billions Lucifer Ballers The Catch (US version) Designated Survivor Chicago Fire Shooter (TV series with Ryan Phillipe) Code Black Colony The Shannara Chronicles Queen of the South iZombie Comedy: Superstore The Detour New Girl Brooklyn Nine-Nine Fresh off the Boat Fleabag The Katering Show (online) Vice Principals Reality: The Bachelor (USA, CA, AU, NZ, UK) So You Think You Can Dance Below Deck (and Mediterranean) First Dates (UK, CA, AU, NZ) Hard Knocks Ended: Dollhouse, Happy Endings, Arrested Development, Banshee, Don't Trust The Bitch In Apartment 23 Already mentioned: Suits, Vikings, Black Sails, HIMYM, Veep, GoT, * be careful to get the English versions, although it is filmed/acted in English, the French dubbed version actually airs first - they're almost through season 2 whereas only the first episode or 2 have aired in English.

Okay, I must be a bit weird but when do you find the time to watch all those shows, From what people have mentioned I have only seen and enjoyed Brooklyn 99 (seen this on the plane) Sex and the City Arrested Development Seven yr switch Oh and my guilty pleasure is Real housewives of Beverly Hills and of NYC (a friend has given me her Foxtel password - probably the worst thing I ever did logging in!!)

The only one I devote myself to is Vikings, but the latest season is stretching the friendship. It's almost like it's trying to outdo Game of Thrones. I keep waiting for Ragnar to return from the dead, although fairly sure he won't and equally unsure whether I'd be happy or disappointed if he did. I have yet to start watching The Young Pope on SBS but intend to when I find the time. There is just no way I have enough time to devote myself to so many TV series as a lot of people do. I don't mean that in a nasty way, I waste time in other ways that are equally unproductive, it's books for me though not TV. Plus, it's too hard - everybody's recommending a TV series to you just about every day, the worst is when they lump the entire box set of whichever series to work and dump it on you, insisting you watch it because it is ''just so freakin' awesome''. Then you have to politely tell them when they ask the following week that no, you haven't started watching it yet. And the week after etc etc.

Quoting 'OkeyDoke45' I keep waiting for Ragnar to return from the dead, although fairly sure he won't and equally unsure whether I'd be happy or disappointed if he did.they have to follow the Ragnar legend at least somewhat faithfully, I'm not sure how many seasons they'll devote to the boys and their conquests (which have historical basis) If you haven't yet, give "The Borgias" a go, that was super high quality

I do quite a bit of reading with free to air TV and radio on in the background, plus albums available on the PC, stacks of boxes of CDs. I do heaps of channel flicking too, so between initial screenings and reruns on TV, I pick up on lots of different stuff (mux/demux the various channels between my earlugs and my brain)... Years ago, my youngest daughter gave me a fridge magnet for Fathers' Day: "DAD: KING of the REMOTE CONTROL".

Everything said except a favourite currently still running. Archer awesome politically incorrect adult animation. Two just started new seasons I have followed are Wentworth and Lucifer. Damn another superb one just came to mind. The first series of True Detectives. Huge thumbs up also for Banshee, right up there for me.

Tonight's story was quite interesting (re: trolls/trolling). This episode raised a number of salient points. Among the interviewees and issues covered, there was a woman whose life was made a misery by trolls who disagreed with her views expressed online, and a fellow who suffered in consequence of being falsely accused of being a troll. I'd recommend it to anyone who participates in online fora. It will be available on 'iview' by now (and will be rebroadcast free to air in the coming days).

I've watched all the seasons of House of Cards in the last fortnight. So devious and so entertaining. Today, I tried season 1 of The Aliens, but it's shit...couldn't finish the first episode. It's going in the bin. 25 dollars wasted...I had such high hopes. I also tried season 1 of The Young Pope, and I've done 2 episodes so far. It's good, but I'm not totally sold yet.
