What are peoples opinions on tattoos? How many is a turn off/turn on. I find that too many tattoos especially on the face and neck are a turn off for me, but others can be sexy

Neck, hands, face, are an instant turn off for me. Not overly keen on calf Tatts either. If I find a couple where the guy is all tatted up on the neck and face it’s a red flag for me too ( yeah probably an unfounded prejudice I know but 🤷‍♂️)

They all started when Adam was bored one day and started carving love hearts on Eve's tits

Tattooed people don't care if you're not tattooed.

We don’t like them at all. Especially those that have negative imagery - guns, daggers, thorns, dragons, the devil , skulls etc. 1 small pretty & positive one might be OK, but not a whole mish mash. Akin to putting bumper stickers all over a Ferrari - tends to spoil the curves & shapes - in our opinion

Seems like you're a cleanskin, which I personally find unappealing. I love tattoos, more the merrier. But draw the line at face and neck.

A well designed tattoo located in the right location on the body can be extremely sexy on a woman and hot on a guy. Face and neck tattoos however, are definitely not attractive and would be averse to meeting anyone with them.

Tatts are a very personal thing and I believe they should have some sort of meaning to the wearer. I have a total of 4 tatts. Each has it's own story. How many are too many? Too many variables. Depends on what they are, where they are and who they are on. I have seen gorgeous looking women with ferfect bodies and looks but because of all the tattoos on them, I found it to be a turn off. I fear they will regret it in years to come.

I'm sure part of the process of them being produced requires a person to roll around on wet comic books. I really appreciate the body in its natural form. Slapping graffiti all over one's body is very unattractive.

I would never, under any circumstances, get a video game tattoo, no matter how subtle. You don't see Star Wars fans getting Yoda tattoos, or trekkies getting tattoos of Admiral Ackbar. Tattoos are supposed to have meaning. When I was in the army, I didn't even think about getting a tattoo until near the end of my deployment. I've seen and done some horrible things in my life so when I came back to the states I did a lot of volunteer work which prompted me to get two tattoos of the words "angel" and "devil" in chinese on my left and right wrists so that I can remind myself that I am capable of doing both good and bad things. 10 years from now I'll look at my wrists and still have profound thoughts of what went through my mind the day I decided to get these tattoos but the idiots who got them because they like video games will only see an outdated, obsolete franchise.

I have them, I love them, I am impartial to those that don't have them, and I adore beautiful ink.

Tattoo removal services have grown 46% in the western world in the last 12 months (source:Next level) and has been on a steady increase over the last 5 years. People under 50 make up 86% of all people who had tattoos removed. The major reasons for removing tattoos were; 1. Tattoo of a former loved one, 2. Better employment opportunities without tattoos, 3. Skin stretched due to weight gain making tattoo unappealing. Some food for thought before getting a tattoo.

A well defined tattoo (not all faded and blurry) on a bicep or shoulder can look very sexy.

I don't care what people think about me having tattoos. I have quite a few. It doesn't bother me either way if a guy has them. If a guy is bothered by mine it's quite simple he can just not contact me 🤷🏼‍♀️

Friends who have them have asked why I (S) don't have any. My usual response is "Would you ever put a bumper sticker on a Ferrari?".

My great grandmother was Maori which probally had the influence to go with my Tribal ... Im happy with my choice thats all that really matters As l mentioned in a earlier post , females are the most likely to give their approval ... l even had some smiling and tracing it with their finger, so that'll do me.. You always get the negative few who say ' l hate tatts ' or ' why did you do that for ' ... l just explain there was a time when l was just as negative ' then one day that all changed.. and thats the truth.. I wont get anymore , l got what l wanted and enough is enough.. l think like anything ' if something looks good the way it is ' why spoil it ...

I have always seen tattoos an excellent indicator of a persons priorities in life and their attitude towards enlightenment (for want of a better word). .. I’ve seen tattoos that indicate experiences and life’s journey. I’ve seen tattoos that indicate unintelligent folklore. I’ve seen tattoos that are pure art. And I’ve seen tattoos that are just truly awful. .. And for those who don’t have them . . . like me . . . I just gather they had other things they wanted to spend their money on. 🤷🏼‍♀️ .. The stupidest tattoo I ever saw was on a serial ONS’er from my region. A green heart with a red ribbon and “Mum” - on his arm. He said he did “eeny meeny” in the tattoo book and then chose his “Mum” at the last moment. I literally didn’t know how to respond to the story 😳 .. The most beautiful tattoo I ever saw was a series of free form shapes without a definite outline that formed a pink lotus on the back of a giant 6’5” man’s back. It perfectly reflected who he was/is.

I had a "tramp stamp" on my lower back but have had it laser removed. Talk about ouch! I had it removed because it had faded/stretched over the years and just didn't look great. I wouldn't get any tattoos again.

I have 6 tattoos and they all have stories. I also have wrinkles and scars and other unsightly growing through life shit happening. Really who gives a shit if you don’t like them move on. No different than fake nails, fake hair, fake boobs, fake lips, makeup, dyed hair or little blue erection pills. People do shit that other people don’t like. Get over it, don’t judge, if you don’t like it move on.

All tattoos turn me off. I don’t consider myself better than anyone else but when I see someone who has tattoos, I just can't lower my standards to engage with them. I'm only interested in strong minds who can make their own decisions and not just people who are happy to follow trends. It's surprised a few ladies when I've just walked out on them over the years.

I have a few , what I have found is people definitely judge , I felt like they protected me London during summer a few years ago. Can be a great conversation starter and I enjoy telling my tattoo story. 2 sleeves almost got me no entry to a boobie bar and a rose on my hand also a no entry but they have a chat and judge from conversation. Would I go back to clean skin ? No way ,it's me now and I love that .

If that's your preference, you're entitled it. Personality says more about a person than their tattoos ever will. If its stereotyping, rather than making an assumption, maybe find out for yourself and make your own opinion.
