I am wondering how long this ruler actually is. It seems to me that the RHP ruler may be a bit like various drill bit sizes.

maybe it's as big as King Arthur's legendary sword Excalibar and made out of silver or steel. Speaking of swords when it comes to a mans trusty sword I think any measuring would need to be done when they are erect and ready for battle. 😀

It’s a tape, so you can “measure” the circumference as well. The first 15cm are marked as inches so 8cm = 8 inches. After the cm it switches to dress sizes but only goes to size 10, after that all measurements are size 10. It also measures height up to about 5’ 9” which actually measures 6’, all measurements after 5’9” are simply referred to as over 6’ Metric is spurned as being far to accurate.

Brilliantly written. We always assumed it was a magic ruler. Sort of like how the camera adds 10 pounds.

Wait a minute... Are you telling me all these 9 inch cocks offering to pound me all night long might not be real? Oh be still my relieved lady flower.

The famous deodorant can, is a poor mans measuring instrument, ??? And naturally this is just a assumption: u couldn’t fold it around to measure circumference, no matter what deodorant can or brand u use :)

The jury is still out, however don’t “rule” out that some measurement are accurate. Depending on who u speak too of course.

I’m sure everybody’s taking correct measurements, the ruler probably just got cold and shrank.

Do you lube it first before you insert it, or does it slide right in ?

The toilet roll guide isn't what it used to be... We use king size rolls at home... 🍑

Many have our favorite tools that we can't bear to part with. The saw that's rusty, the hammer that has the worn handle. The square that's gone slightly out of square. The level that isn't quite level but you know where the bubble has to be for it to be right. Well, the OP boils down to this. Some fuckers have their favorite tape measure. Seen years of service, many projects done right with it. But the ends of these things have a hard life, getting jammed, hit with things until the tip shears off. But a bit of maintenance, trim it down to a less worn bit where you know how much is missing, restick the hook bit on with a pop rivet and it's good for another few years and then repeat the process when it bigger a up again. First time, you know you cut 50mm of the end so measure and add the 50. Second time t breaks, another 50 gets sliced off and so you add 100. It's plain to me, a lot of men on here have gotten new tape measures at some stage, maybe for father's day or birthday, probably by the wife truth be known. Just habit l guess that you fuckers can't break routine and obvious that they had their old trusty tapes for far too long when they measure their dicks with the new one when the wifes out and habitually add 100 or 150mm to the measure.......

So in cold or inclement temps u should give it a good rub, or a few pumps, to get accurate measurement.

Isn’t the theory that a craftsman never blames the tool :). Also I’ve heard always measure twice. TFIF. Have a great weekend.

I use the rule of thumb short and thick or the alternative is fitters feel as the standard measure just doesn’t add up

Yep accurate no dougt, however they look very very dangerous around, near, or under control of a novice whilst attempting to confirm said equipment/tool length. Many tools in many sheds have been misused or incorrectly operated by tool operators
