So I just read an article about a recent Reddit topic, in which women were asked to describe things that men do that are attractive - and make the women want to jump their bones - that men probably don't realise is attractive. It wasn't a surprise to me - and probably won't be to most other women - that the answers weren't the typical, masculine, 'blokey' things involving power, aggression or 'my dick is bigger than yours' confrontations. They were things that typically showed a good person - qualities of compassion, caring, intelligence, and using their masculinity for positive change. Examples included being a calm and safe driver, cooking, showing kindness to others, and speaking passionately about something they care about. There are also some other, seemingly innocuous things like rolling sleeves up to the elbows (forearms are hot, doncha know...), and wearing glasses (yep, hot). I know for myself, I first noticed this phenomenon with my first boyfriend. He was a very keen cricket player, and although I found - and still find - cricket as boring as a box of bolts (sorry Funlover), I found myself wanting to go along to his games to watch him, and even more surprisingly, that watching him often got me horny as hell. Yes the physical aspect was a part of it, but I think it was watching him do something he was so passionate about, where he seemed to almost be in another world, that really got me going. And since then I've noticed it with other boyfriends and more casual partners - whether it's watching them play in a band, fix a problem with my computer, build a shed, or strum out a great tune on a guitar (yes musicians hold a special place) - I often end up with an overwhelming desire to rip their clothes off and do them then and there. Oh, and if a guy likes and is affectionate towards animals....unicorns have mercy!!! So I want to know from all of you, what are some of the things that men and / or women do that they are blissfully unaware sets you into a frenzy of desire, or at least produces a few twinges?? It can be the smallest thing...even the way they take their shirt off, as one female commenter on the above-mentioned article waxed lyrical about. Come on, spill!!

    Great topic! Mr Cheeky loves his cricket and is a good player too! He is a very fair player and supports his team and gives praise. That in itself is a turn on... A man who is good to his children and loves being with his family and isn't afraid to be silly in front of them.. A man who has a smart brain and knows lots of things! A man who respects and who praises his partner and doesn't degrade them in public.

    Is the slightly flexed arm muscle of a guy usually when he's holding a drink or something... ( The " I'm just checking out my flex muscles" in a mirror type have no such appeal) It's fact that you can obviously see they work out but it's not totally on display oh and even better when its in a tight fitting t-shirt..mmmm Another is Mr Sat in his king gees working in the yard. He's got a good body and seeing him with a bit of dirt grease or sweat on him looks pretty enticing. I think your second paragraph somes up that reasoning precisly LD it's exactly that.

    Talks to a childThe way a man speaks off, and too, his ex partner. A man changing my tyre, I have no idea why but I just want that guy in greasy overalls and dirty hands to just touch me where ever he likes. Safe drivers, yestestosterone filled drivers, NO Guys that read bedtime stories. A guy with a beer in his hand, boardies on and watering the lawn. Last night, a sweet guy that got a little protective when a guy hit on me last night, He was a friend of my husbands and my husband was away. Little bit of knight in shining armour is rather nice at times. But really all the guy said, was fuck, you have a good rack lol yeah beer goggles will do it every time!

    The old school gentlemanly actions make me melt. Pulling out the chair, opening the door, filling my glass, standing when I leave or arrive at the table, holding his hand out to assist me down the step. I also love the body builders. The muscles are nice, yes, but it's knowing how much commitment to training that took, focus on their diet and knowledge of their body that I find super sexy.

One guy, I was undecided after the date, he was walking me to my car (tick), and a woman walking in front of us with a pram hit a bump, spilling all of this 'stuff' onto the street and he went to help her pick it up in such an unaffected way...     Who is confident and polite. He stands proud and even when short, just looks so much taller...... When he gets his glass of water given to him, he actually looks at the person to say thanks....... I was just commenting on this the other night to a girlfriend (obviously checking guys out). We came to the same conclusion, there were three 'good looking' guys and two average guys, but the one that stood out to both of us was one of the what would be perceived as the average guy..... It was just the way he held himself, laughed so openly and was warm to all around, he was hot!!!

    A hunky body builder I knew (we were only ever friends, much to my dismay) literally wouldn't kill a fly. Any bugs in the house were carefully caught in a wee bug catcher and set free outside. He said that every life was precious.....awww. Just made me fancy him all the more.

    Rather than cake it on thick. The attention the lady spends focussed to highlighting all those beautiful features, with her range of minerals to colour the skin. Mirror mirror on the wall, it is gorgeous the reason they do it all. Times are tough and the multitude of active attentions to a woman's thoughts, and she can find it to have a playful bounce in her step. (encouraging for me the man) Just the way a woman moves.     I find a woman who is confident but doesn't need to advertise it highly attractive, quietly confident would be the best description. If they can dress appropriately such as, wearing "home" clothes at home, Jeans for Genes day, work for work and to the 9's when the time calls... A woman in heels, not a fetish just a strong visual attraction! Passion, I think this is self explanatory. All other things aside, for me it is the way they greet me for the first time. The vibe, hand shake, kiss on the cheek, hug, smile, etc. I know it is cliche' but the first vibe/gut instinct I get is the one that someone is measured by for me. I rely on my gut instinct as it has proven right every time, some times with me wishing it wasn't. I have been physically attracted, and really rev'ed up ready to go at a first meet, met the person and had a very bad vibe from them. I stayed had a chat and drink and politely told them no. Well they blew up and stormed out, found out the reason why later, my gut was right on all accounts! I don't completely believe in the "subconscious physical flirting" I see it but also know that others also understand it uses and use it for their benefit so for me it always comes second to my gut instinct.     A smile, not over confident, not shy, just a sexy, happy with life smile. Self confidence, a lady who knows that she doesnt have to be perfect (whatever the hell that is), but believes enough in herself and her right to be independent and individual.

    A guy in his mid-late 20s took off his ball cap when he entered the building where I work in a country town, and just tucked it under his arm while he was inside, obviously used to doing it without a thought, and he had the cheekiest twinkle in his eyes and smile it made me all melty.     When a woman's eyes light up when she smiles. A cheeky, knowing grin during an "inappropriate" conversation. It is extremely attractive to see a woman who is happy in her own skin, no matter how or where that occurs. And lastly, A woman with manners- sounds obvious but I've gotten used to women who don't know how to say please and thank you in everyday normal conversations.

    I don't know, maybe I get sexed out on all the sexual stuff! It's nice to know these little things are admired from afar. I like watching a woman with social graces, that can socialize with anyone, anywhere. Then there's that look in a woman's eyes when you know her world has stopped, a stillness descends, and unwittingly, you know her heart has been touched. Just. For. One. Moment.
