  Happens to me too mate and I would presume a good percentage of males here as well. I think of it this way, if they have blocked me it has saved me a message. The worst one is the flirt sent to you and you go to their profile immediately and it says it can't be viewed and you know it was a block as you still can't view it a week later. But Kisskiss has listed the three possible reasons why you are seeing this message and a white out

  All very good and valid points. My mind went to the 'block' but thought it was odd when I had never interacted with the person in any way, shape or form. Thank you for the information!

  blocked from view so anyone trying to find me would only get that message. Or as the others have mentioned they have blocked you. Profile changes also stop you from looking until approved. Cheers Ms Blu

  Kiss kiss is on the money. I’d like to add... If you’re actually blocked, don’t take it as an insult. Lots of members have bad memories so they might review your profile, make a decision, and block you so they don’t repeatedly view your profile. It’s the age old problem of seeing your username pop up in the “who viewed you” list. If you’re blocked, you don’t get into that list with the consequence that profile stalking is eliminated. Without blocking, the list to and fro is a viscous round Robbin of people thinking “not you again”. Hugs Gaz

  Thank you all for the responses! It's made for good reading! If someone has blocked me then thats their prerogative really. It's the ones that I've never seen or interacted with me is what threw me off! Oh well, life goes on!

  Talking of blocking, I have a dilemma. Although most sites including this one will make a blocked profile try to make it look like there’s nothing wrong and it’s nothing personal, I still consider being blocked a little bit of a rejection and so I try not to do it to others unless I actively dislike them (almost never happens). What that means, though, is that I keep having profiles that have said they’re not into me appearing on the list of potentials. Is there a way to be able to have those profiles not show up for me without actively blocking them? Is there a way to just focus on the profiles that haven’t actively communicated disinterest without using a block? It would be great if there was a way to communicate to a profile “I’m totally open to talking with you and won’t prevent you talking to me, but since you’ve communicated your disinterest already, I’ll respect that and not keep flirting with you or messaging you”. It seems at the moment there is only “I actively refuse all contact with you because you’ve rejected me and I’ve retaliated in a childish way” which isn’t at all what I want to communicate. - Posted from rhpmobile

  You need to ignore the recommenxed ones entirely. Half seem to be dead profiles or dummy ones. One of my x's keep coming up on the recommended hot girls for you list even though we had blocked each other. Just move on.

  Some people block just so they don't have to see the blockee's posts come up on their news feed of followed threads.
