I saw a preview clip of this show on FB. Tom went to a swinger's club and he looked so uncomfortable, poor thing . I'll definitely be watching it.

Tom Tilley is a freaking awesome investigative reporter. One of my favourites! He's always so entertaining, and brings up the topics that need to be talked about despite the level of discomfort they may bring to the audience. Big thumbs up for letting us know about this.

Not sure why swingers are in the same episode as sex addiction? I believe sex addiction is a real thing but what my wife and I do is more about exploring each other and others together which can only be a good thing in my opinion. - Posted from rhpmobile

Dr David Ley had a lot to say too.. Sex addiction is a MYTH apparently. I tend to agree. - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'dannniandlyndon' Not sure why swingers are in the same episode as sex addiction? I had the same issue with this. Because there wasn't the time to give much context to swinging and swinger's clubs (other than a couple of the comments about consent being paramount), it mainly seems to perpetuate the idea that swingers are deviates and that clubs are places where there would be more than average numbers of sex addicts, which I would highly doubt.

This is interesting in that it would seem to suggest some sense of upset or shame at what may be revealed by an objective scientific statistical phenomenon (ie the term "deviate")...

Perhaps all those below the peak of the bell curve or inside one standard deviation should be called the vanilla set or perhaps just the herd. Further, at least one of my deviations is far from standard! 😝👹

"An estimate of uncertainty without a statement as to whether the estimate is a standard deviation or related quantity or an indication of the associated confidence level is meaningless. Nevertheless, the necessary qualification is often omitted. While such omissions are probably most often inadvertent, they may occur because the conventional single standard deviation of a normal distribution is inappropriate. Some unusual uncertainty intervals are therefore suggested. These include noninteger multiples of the standard deviation such as 1.5 standard deviations, asymmetric error bounds, and identification of the possibility of long tails or truncated bounds to the probability density function." Med Phys. 1983 Sep-Oct;10(5):709-11. Nonstandard deviations. Goitein M. (Abstract) I'm not familiar with the 'Japanese Ogre' (re: your emoji)... Ward off evil spirits? The above definition of non-standard deviation may suggest bound or boundless possibilities (if you can't tie knots, tie lots); some possibly illegal (Don't corrupt my young ears with tales of tails) !
